Date a man from California, United States. My style is cooperative problem solving through honest communication and I believe in mutual decision making. I very rarely get angry and never depressed or violent. I am, however, fairly shy and reserved socially. I’m somewhat uncomfortable in large crowds, but am a good companion with people I know and like.
Like most people I’m hoping to find mental, emotional, and physical intimacy with an equal partner. She will be average to slender build, faithful, loyal, affectionate, thrifty, even tempered, neat and attractive. I’m expecting to start with a casual relationship, but hoping it to become very long term. I don’t cook and am not fussy about food. Soup and sandwiches satisfy me, but I enjoy good cooking also. I love chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter-not in unison, however.
I’m empathetic and helpful to the less fortunate.. I am a more logical and rational thinker than emotional( except when I’m in love). Very sentimental and can get teary eyed watching movies on “Lifetime” or “ Hallmark” channels. I love happy endings.
I don’t dislike pets, but have never had time to care for one nor the need to own one. I do smoke daily and love coffee, but drink alcohol rarely and in restrained moderation.. I like to dance and enjoy pop music, oldies, and country.
I consider myself a romantic idealist, but am realistic and pragmatic about the perfect relationship - It does take work and effort.(but worth it) I have a Catholic upbringing, but consider myself more spiritual than religious now. I innately have a need to fix things-be they social, romantic, or mechanical problems. To solve problems I am more likely to react logically than emotionally.
I don’t have a defined “ bucket list”. I like to travel, but sorry, I don’t fly. Driving or rail are my preferences. . Be aware that I enter a relationship shyly, cautiously and analytically because if something substantive is lacking, I feel bad and guilty about having to hurt someone’s feelings. I hate that! I'm not a subscriber to this site, sorry I can't communicate more than a wink.
