Music has the power to sooth the soul, inspire one’s heart and agitate the ego. Playing live music with other kindred spirits simply rocks my heart and soul. I'm classically trained and played the cello up through college. I presently play a 5-string electric bass in a rock n roll cover band, and occasionally perform for local theatre groups. I also play the piano accompanying my girl's singing. Over the holidays you'll find me playing Vince Guaraldi and Jim Brickman during social events and dinner parties until someone kicks me off the piano bench. I’m a rocker at heart and have an appreciation for most music.
Who doesn't like traveling? I've travelled fairly extensively. The upcoming travel plans for 2012 year will be focused on snow skiing in Tahoe and Colorado, and as many outdoor activities as possible (camping, hiking, fishing, shooting).
I enjoy cooking too. On a daily basis I try to have protein/berry smoothies, lean meats, fruits and vegetables to live a longer, healthier and more energetic lifestyle, but I admit I love burgers, chips, sodas and pizza too.

If you prefer to be the master chef, I'll be more than happy to defer as your sous-chef and dishwasher. I'm good with a knife, BBQ grill and wok.
