Date a man from United States. Rock and roll guitar playing bush/desert pilot needs co-pilot to wash airplane, handle cameras, buck revits and provide TLC on three very cool cars. Must not mind a guy who gets dirty sometimes working on all kinds of stuff. I cook an excellant breakfast and clean up afterwards. Please, please let her have a very good sense of wit. I have a very deadly and spontaneous sense of humor. People tell me I clean up very well but sometimes it takes a few days to get the grease and or gun oil out from under my nails. I own three classic cars that keep me busy. They are all what we say " a work in progress." A woman who doesn't mind giving a man some space is needed here. I get called to fly to unknown places with sometimes only a 24hr notice. I often take on too many projects at once and therefore some of them take longer. I have no use for a woman who is a couch potato or reads book after book. It would be nice just to have someone to hang out with and who would enjoy crusing for a taco plate or a hamburger. She would need to be armed to the teeth for a occasional battle of wits. I have always admired very tall ladies and have been accused of hanging out in front of Shelly's Tall Shop in the malls.
I do not handle smoking very well, so if you like to sneek one with the girl's in the back, please don't respond to this. I smoke the tires on a 400 hp 1956 Chevy and that's it!
Meet a soulmate from United States. My friends would probably describe me as being somewhat reserved but loves to laugh and have fun. I'm a little prankster/jokester at times trying to keep things on the humorous side. Otherwise I'm a conservative clean living guy. Don't smoke, drink or hang out at bars. I taught PE in high school and coached football, wrestling and coached varsity baseball for 30 years. Played baseball at San Diego State and in Canada for two years. I obviously like to be active and preferably outside. Hunting and fishing, along with being by the beach or driving in the desert in my jeep are some of my favorite activities. I have enjoyed going on short trips lately and hope to continue doing so.
I'm most comfortable in casual clothing and live a pretty simple life. This means I don't require a lot of things to keep myself happy and satisfied. I do like to be organized and orderly but am not discouraged if the place gets a little cluttered once in awhile. I have always been able to handle life's curves pretty well although I can be a little sensitive/emotional but usually keep it mostly to myself. I don't have the most outgoing type of personality but I do like to meet people and truly enjoy a good time with friends. I just need a little time occasionally to get to know someone. I think most would say I'm enjoyable to be around. But I don't prefer to be around in a crowd of loud and obnoxious people. So if I'm not out somewhere exploring new places, I could sit and watch the birds, fish and sunset for hours in a peaceful setting. I'd probably also be listening to country or oldies music with a little gospel music thrown in. Definitely not a “rap” fan !
When it comes to politics and religion I'm pretty conservative. Change is good only if there's a positive side for it. I've seen too many changes in my lifetime that do more harm than good. I believe there are issues in society that are changing for the worse and the trend concerns me.
I'm the kind of person that can be trusted just by my word. If I say I'll be somewhere at a certain time I will be on time, if not a little earlier. I say what I mean and mean what I say-- maybe that's from being a teacher/coach, I don't know. I just believe that I should live up to what I say, otherwise don't say it. I don't mean to sound like I'm so rigid because flexibility in relationships is important. And again, as a teacher/coach you have to be flexible at times.
I have seven children from college age on up that keep me busy also. Some are scattered here and there and some are in and out of the house at different times. So I've stayed connected to their activities and schedules. But if someone special came along that might be fine also. I feel a little unsure or timid about all this but I've had many people encourage me to try this avenue out so maybe it's about time I gave it a whirl. Maybe it's the shyness in me that has kept me from trying this before. As I said earlier, I'm not very outgoing, but not afraid to look a stranger in the eye when passing on the sidewalk and say “hi” to them either. I'm a gambler sometimes (not for money) so maybe I'll test the waters and see if someone is willing to take a “gamble” with me !?!
