I have four great kids, ages 22 thru 28, and love hanging with them when I can. I am so proud of them. My oldest is married, graduated college and very happy....may see grandkids one day. My other three are all in college and working....and will graduate in the next year or two. I feel blessed by them.

I am Californian born here and raised. I am a very responsible and old fashion man, yes I open doors. I have many interest and have done some wonderful things so far and want to continue. My travel has been limited but I have been to Copenhagen, Cancun, Aruba and the Dominican Republic. I love a good cigar a nice drink and a view of the ocean with warm trade wind while watching the sun set or on a boat feeling the gentle roll as the sun slips away.
I was a horse owner and enjoyed the competitive side of Team Roping and Sorting, and yes Trail riding and sunset rides out at Moss Landing are also quite nice. OK Boating, I have been skiing the rivers and lakes of California since I was a child, grew up on the Delta, and enjoyed weeks of house boating on Shasta. I want to restore an old 1970 V-drive so I can get back out on the water, a true labor of love. I have also spent time working on drag boats back in the early 80's part of my love of speed and wrenching.
What I am looking for is someone with a wide range of experiences and loves. Not just the ones I love but new ones that turn into adventures.
So locally I love the coast from Half Moon Bay south of Big Sur, a lot of nice places to get a good meal and gaze out at the ocean.
I have been working the the development of Medical devices for the last 13 years and enjoy what I do.

I consider myself romantic and somewhat old-fashioned. I value regular acts of affection, kindness, and celebrations of love; and I highly value respect, honor, faithfulness, and commitment . I've learned the importance of being slow to speak, slow to anger, quick to forgive (before the sun goes down!) and to communicate frequently and openly. At first, I seem pretty quiet and shy (and I value a quiet and stable lifestyle), but I open up quickly, especially around friendly and inquisitive people whom I might share things in common with. I am easy-going and easy to please. I am fully engaged in my children's lives, most of whom are now adults but who still need a little encouragement and pushing to fly to coop!
An extra blessing would be a partner who shares my passion for music and especially who could make music with me! (My instruments are oboe, sax, recorder, pennywhistle.
