My days are pretty busy but I find time for friends. I am currently a teacher while continuing school studying behavioral psychology. I never saw myself working with kids until I volunteered. It's great! Everyone always asks me how I can be so patient. Well, I don't know how to be, I just am. I guess working with 2-6 year old kids since 2008 has helped, haha.
Outside of work I am extremely active. I hardly ever just go back go back home after work to sit down and watch tv till I fall asleep; thought I will admit that they days that I do do that I love em! I tend to hit the gym 2-4x a week and train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu 2-3x a week. Sometimes I'll take a break to go out with friends, a break is always needed! Being extremely active has led me eating better as well. I hardly eat out, when I do it's because I'm out with friends. And even then, I don't just eat whatever. It's usually pretty clean.
I ride my Harley just about everywhere unless I'm going out with a few friends or it's pouring raining out side! It's awesome! Love tattoos, too! Have a few and a few more lined up with some artists I'm getting. They always have a cool story to them, I cannot stop talking to someone about theirs when I see one. I'm open to do whatever, getting out is always fun with good company. I'd like to write more, but as I type this I'm running out of good things to say about myself, haha! I am a big enthusiast on personal growth and working for what you want. I'm studying Psychology at SJSU and am aiming for my Ph.D. in the long run. I also work for the SJSU Research Foundation. Laziness is one of my biggest pet-peeves. I'm known to be a serious, focused person but those close to me know that I'm humorous and down-to-earth. I can be a little shy at first when meeting someone new but I quickly open up to those who I find interesting. I love music - reggae, ska, rock, rap, some hip hop, but mainly independent music rather than mainstream. I enjoy going to concerts at small venues. Being outdoors in the sun during the spring/summer time hiking, exploring, playing sports, pretty much anything being outside is great. I have few close friends that I hang out with, I'd rather not have a huge social circle of those who I would call acquaintances. I really enjoy having deep conversations that inspire and motivate people. I like to see dreams and goals turn into reality, which is why I would like someone who is active in what they want out of life.
I can't stand those who are always wishing but never take the step forward. My ideal match would be someone who is independent and has this natural glow to her - spilling with positive vibes. She would have to be active in her goals, inspirational and thoughtful. Someone who is down for some adventure and may want to travel. Someone who loves to be outdoors and active. Health oriented, who cares about their well-being. She would be generous and selfless, creative, genuine, and unique. College-bound or graduated while always looking at new ways/things to learn. I don't want a girl who makes assumptions or is impulsive. One who jumps to conclusions without attempting to see my perspective. I don't mind a girl who likes to be home, as I do sometimes too, but I don't want to be hanging out on the living room couch every weekend either.

Last weeks, I ran my first race, just a 10K but I had a great time and I did pretty good. I recently decided to write a book, and its coming along, I'm not going to lie, its hard to try to put all the crazy ideas from my head into paper. If you ask my friends about me they would tell you, that I am a dreamer, a loyal friend, and someone you can always count on.
In another note...I just switched my major from nursing to psychology. The good thing was that most of my classes were transferable towards my new major, and I was just accepted to go to CSUEB where I will be starting on the fall of this year.
