Depends on who you talk to--some say funny, smart, caring and devoted to discovering the positives in life, people, environment. I do easily accept constructive criticism when I "go over the edge" in my opinions. I'm an ENFP in temperment and typically my best friends are either SP's or NT's. I've been single several years and am "comfortable in my own skin". I am certainly discriminating about who I will let into my life--better to have a few truly great friends than many acquaintances. Try not to panic about my marital status--it's only about helping with medical insurance.
Children, puppies and kittens invariably have me laughing and melting inside.
I am most proud of my children, my professional accomplishments and skill on the slopes (as long as my knees last!).

Now, a word or two about this online meeting arena--seems to me that there are no easy paths to finding Ms. Right. As always, we have to play a game of numbers; meeting many who are good people but don't "strike the spark". And, it's tough when we have only a few pictures and words to go by; unfortunately, communication is only about seven percent words and the rest is all nuance, tone, body language, etc.

Some 18 years ago I decide to retire and focus on what were my passions (Macintosh computer consultant built a successful business--Then Day Trader in the stock market). I love the arts, was President of the Nevada County Arts Council. Music really speaks to me, Classical, Mowtown, RB 60's, 70's, World, Celtic etc. Dance WOW, some 15 years ago I stated a tradition, to celebrate my birthday I would take my daughter and friends to see The Alvin Ailey American Dance Troupe. I love all of the MGM Classics. I dance in a local Halau (Hawaiian).
I play racquetball 3 or 4 times a week, love to play cards, drink red wine. I love bargains, getting somethings I really like 50% off. I tend to buy what I want when it is on sale. I like my money to go a long way. I live simply, but with comfort.
I love to cook, and friends tend to like it. While visiting San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, I finally got a handle on how to dance salsa Yea....I love to dance but somehow salsa was challenging..
I have been blessed to be able to do what I truly love, great health, some wonderful friends and enough serious challenges/mistakes to keep me growing.
There is so much that I do not know and have not done. I wonder what that may be? I hope the lady that comes into my life will love some of what I love and love some of what I do not know. She may open new doors for me.

I also grow a nice garden as I love to cook and need fresh vegtables in order to do that. I make a world class Caesar salad.I spent most of my life horselogging and running a sawmill. Cooking, enjoying blues and jazz, spending time with friends and family are just some of my favorite past times. I do golf, know how to fly fish, can hit 90mph on a snowmobile, and zip line in Mexico.
