I like many of the same things I found pleasure in as a child: riding my bike for hours on end (cycling is my favorite outdoor activity, followed by hiking), being out in the rain, climbing trees, or simply walking along a canal out in the country. I love the seasons we have in the valley as, unlike many other places, outdoor adventures are available year-round.
Two priorities are watching what I eat and staying fit as I believe that doing both enhances the quality of life. So I prepare a lot of my own meals which is another thing I like to do (with the variety of fresh stuff available, it doesn’t take that much time – well worth the effort).
I have a son away at college and one in high school. They’re almost on their own, and are both well-grounded and responsible kids. I’m still fairly active with them, especially in the summer months.
Music of all types is something I enjoy on a daily basis - I like a wide variety, from Duke Ellington to REM to Black-eyed Peas.

Date single man from United States. I'm laid-back and easy going, but I get restless and bored if I’m stuck at home for too long. I enjoy being active and trying new things, food, traveling and learning about other cultures. I’m quiet, reserved and will never be the life of the party, but I like to socialize, I’m friendly and I get along with everyone. I have two adult kids that are independent and on their own, a boy 28 and a girl 31. Yeah I was a baby myself when I started and thankfully they haven't made me a grandpa yet, I'm not quite ready for that. The pictures are from various times over the past couple years, the main difference is now is I have less hair mostly from a buzz cut.
I ride my road bike for fun and exercise, I haven't ridden much in over a year and it shows unfortunately, but I was doing about 200 miles a week. I also do yoga regularly and lift a little just to stay healthy.
I scuba dive several times a year, preferably on some exotic island with warm water and nice beaches. I'm packing for a trip to Bonaire so don't expect a reply until I return around the end of April . Years ago I skied, snow and water, and I'd like to again, at least to try and to see if I still like it, I want to try snowboarding too.
Motorcycles, but coming home from work in December 2011 I had a bad crash that landed me in the hospital for a few days and totaled the bike so, I’m without a ride now. Thinking about getting another, maybe a Harley, call me crazy my family does.
I also like to attend the Long Beach Grand Prix when I can, watch sport cars or motorcycles race at Laguna Seca by Monterey. I’m originally from the bay area and San Francisco has my favorite teams, 49ers and Giants. Hate the Dodgers ;) I go to all the Bulldog football games mostly for the tailgate parties to see friends, but I'm hoping the new coach will make a huge improvement.
I don't watch TV that much but I do record my favorite shows, Dexter, Sons of Anarchy, True Blood, the Walking Dead, Fringe and Formula One Racing. That sounds like a lot but they don't run at the same time of year so it's only 2-3 hours a week.
Why don't they have a relationship status of single, or all of the above? I was widowed about 4 years ago and divorced about 25 years ago from my kids mom. I'm single now and it's been too long to keep carrying the widowed status around with me.

I've been on and off this site but for a while....just taking care of my kids and ok being a single dad..I have never taken a good photo in my life. Everyone I have met in the past says I'm better looking than my photos. Of course, they say that after a couple cocktails. I haven't taken the time to upload really current pics but the ones I have posted are accurate as far as my appearance...I think. Anyway, I have been a Lineman Since I was 19. I was the guy climbing the power poles to get the lights back on in a driving rain storm or 110 degree heat. I have 2 great kids that I have every other week....So...Half my time is kid oriented and the other half open. They have grown so fast it's amazing!! My son has started his second year at UC Monterey and daughter is a Sophomore at Fresno Christian. Wow...The years are clicking by! About me...I love to cook and actually pretty good at it. I like to go to church, but I am the guy in the back row, I want to hear the sermon and leave. I believe in God and karma and thankful that I have a great job and fantastic kids. I've been divorced about 10 years now So...it's time for dad to move ahead! I hope to meet my significant other.. get out of the "dating" scene..and enjoy a relationship with ONE special love to travel, hang out, cook together, eat out...just be a couple! Yes!!!
