I'm very active in local politics, love it for some reason. Spent 10 years as a Parks Commissioner and 1 as a Planning Commissioner, and I'm looking to back involved. I've been honored at the Satate and local level for my volunteer work, be it assisting sports groups, the Cancer Assn's. Relay for life, or spearheading bringing world class activities to my community, it all matters. I read somewhere that in life you should not strive to have your presence noticed but rather your absence.

I was married for 20 years and have been divorced for 6. I have two grown children, my son is 24 and is a paramedic, my daughter is 19 and a college student. I can't put into words how proud I am of them both, they have become outstanding young adults and I spend as much time with them as possible.
