Date a soulmate from California, United States. I’m a multi-national mutt, having grown up in Australia, spent a decade living in London, and then the last 7 years in the USA, first in Washington D.C. and now SF, which has given me a number of things including an interesting accent, an extensive knowledge of cocktails, and the ability to speak fluent restaurant in 7 different languages.
I love the Bay area, and I still like to travel and seek to experience people and cultures not just to see places. Exploring and sharing that with someone produces memories that no camera can capture. I’m an inveterate story-teller (thanks, 1000 years of Irish bardic family tradition) which tends to make me curious and lead me into interesting situations ... such as the time when I was drinking flaming cocktails in a hotel bar in Rome, surrounded by 300 Italian riot police ... but I’ll save the rest of that one for another time.
In terms of relationships, I believe it’s important to be a good friend, to respect differences without compromising your own, and to keep a positive outlook. I learned a lot from being married (which was a while ago) especially about myself. Chemistry is important, trust is essential, and communicating is critical.
So who do I like to meet? Someone with an off-beat sense of humor to match mine, and who’s stylish, but not obsessed with how they look. They’d like to travel and be adaptable and adventurous, the kind of person who is happy to plan a trip and still leave room to be spontaneous.
If if you’ve read this far and I’ve piqued your interest, please send me a message!
Meet someone special from California, United States. I love sunshine, Fluevogs, lattes, swimming pools, the scent of Easter lilyРІР‚в„ўs, optimists, popcorn, stand up paddle boarding, Mexican Coke, breaking some rules, bicycling, any shade of blue, succulents, fireplaces, collaboration, cheese, candle light, LeviРІР‚в„ўs, brisk October nights, listening, penny smashers at tourists sites, California, earl grey tea, costumes on Halloween, romance, snow shoeing, honey, the smell of rain, challenges, pinot noir, and photography.
I have driven a pick up truck around South America, lived in LA, mountain biked Mt. Tam, worked in the first boom. I'd much rather play outside than work inside. I'd rather see friends than send emails. I would be just as happy spending the weekend camping as I would at the Four Seasons.
I enjoy being asked out by a man, I guess IРІР‚в„ўm a little old fashioned. IРІР‚в„ўm likely to giggle on a first kiss because kissing is fun.
I'd like to farm bees, make a home with someone and one day maybe we can travel to India.
I believe in chemistry between two people so if you think there is potential then lets meet.
If you can make me laugh there will definitely be a second date.
Please only email me if you really do have the intention of meeting.
Date a woman from California, United States. sorry testing the waters with one great guy for now.
I have taken most of the last 2.5 years off from dating, decided to work on myself, lost ten pounds, and I remodeled my bathroom. Independence is great, but I am starting to miss flirting, kissing, and all the stuff that happens on the rest of the bases. Giving this big bad world of dating another shot, who is out there? Hard to find that passion and friendship rolled into one hot sexy funny smart guy.
I like to cook, mostly vegetarian food, can always use a good prep cook or a chef (sexy waiter or dishwasher will work too). Love good food so hopefully you are not a big mac kind of person. I use all the online deals to try new restaurants and I don't mind if you do too, I don't think it makes someone cheap, I have opened my eyes to so many places because of it. Working on getting in better shape, take yoga and other classes 2 days a week, and long walks with my dog. Main photo taken 2 months ago, so I am slender, the photo with my raider buddies is 4 years old, all the rest this year. You should be in good shape but I am not a super athlete and I don't expect you to be either. Another big joy of mine is live music, usually rock and roll or old punk, are you comfortable in those kind of surroundings?
43, no kids, never married, I do want to settle down one day but I don't want to rush into anything. Native to the Bay Area, I have been in Emeryville (Eville for short) for four years, before that I was in San Francisco for 19 years. I own the loft I live in, which is constant work, you know what I mean if you are a homeowner, always another project on the horizon. I like to travel but the economy the last couple years has kept me on the ground, plus it is expensive to travel alone (timing never right with friends lately). Last trip was for work, went to Quebec and I tagged on a couple days, beautiful city. Weekend over night trips are always good. Usually you will find me in a pair of jeans, t-shirt and boots or sneakers, I dress up too. You should have some sense of style/updated wardrobe.
I have had many of the same friends for over 20 years, with new ones that come and go (usually move away or they settle down with someone and forget me- we all know that story). I value my friends and never want to lose them for anyone. I want that 80's music night at a club with the gals, can't give that up but if you can dance you can join in once in a while.
*Note: Please do not contact me unless you have a couple pictures posted of yourself. Attraction has to work both ways and I am not on here to schedule blind dates.
Meet people from California, United States. I like my kids, work, friends and I'm looking for someone who might like that too. I am fortunate to have a job that I love, and great people in my life. It would be nice to have someone special to share it with.
