I am California born and reared by loving parents. At age 17 I went away to college in the South, followed by travel and living in Asia for 4 years. I returned to the US to work for a major corporation where I spent enough years to retire. I have owned my own business since then, but now I am enjoying a new life.
I am passionate about love of family although mine is woefully small thus I research my genealogy; I love to write historical fiction and family memoirs (haven't published any yet); natural settings (parks, oceans, mountains) inspire me and connect me spiritually; traveling helps to broaden my understanding of similarities and differences in ways of life and philosophies that can help me make sense of world issues; I enjoy enlightening experiences , meditation and social gatherings and interactions.
WHAT'S IMPORTANT:
Above all, I want to know that my partner is there for me and for him to know that I will be there for him no matter what life throws our way and that there is always mutual respect.
My parents were married for 68 years after knowing each other just 3 days before they became engaged. People often asked them how on earth they had such a successful marriage.
