Music has played a big part of my life. I came to CA in a band and never left. I still play (yes...drummer:) but just for fun.
I was born and raised just south of Boston and moved to CA in 94. I was looking for fun and found a lifestyle!
I do miss my home from time to time but not enough to move back to the 8' of snow and the crazy weather!
I own an electrical contracting / Lighting Design Company, so I'm a busy dude!
My idea of a good time is getting away from the rat race... Beach, mountains, desert.... I like to hang out, having BBQ with friends, going out on the boat, kayaking, hiking, camping...anything outdoors is great.
I'm a very solid person. I'm the guy that everyone leans on...That can be good and bad!
I have a gift of being (extremely) mechanically inclined. If I can't fix it...you need to throw it away!
Again, I can be absolutely hysterical and I definitely don't look at the world in the conventional way! (Once you hang out with me you will understand...I WILL make you laugh!)
Qualities I am attracted to are; adventurous, funny, secure (with yourself), a good communicator, roll with the punches, spontaneous, loving, forgiving, and above all...just be yourself!

Advertising Art Director turned Youth Services Librarian, the perfect combination of my love of children's book writing and illustrating as well as my passion for working with kids. They inspire me every day.
I have reached the point where I would like to share the rest of my life with someone special and am taking the steps to find whomever that may be.

I am a loyal friend. Friendships and family to me mean a lot - still best friends with my friend from the 2nd grade and enjoy spending time with her kids. I am easy going and do not argue, but that doesn't mean I will not express my own opinions or feelings about any given subject. Communication is very important. To me, it is also important to be respectful of others opinions.
The simple things in life I enjoy. A thoughtful gesture to let someone know you are thinking of them. The anticipation while planning a surprise. A picnic in a park. Holding hands. Spending time with friends and family.
Places I enjoy visiting include The Getty Museum (great garden and views), The Huntington Garden, Newport and Laguna Beach (The Pageant of the Masters is a must see!), Santa Barbara, The Rose Bowl Flea Market, and old architecture tours. I also enjoy rummaging through second hand stores or salvage yards in the hopes of repurposing.
Places I've yet to visit but would love to see include South Africa (in a tree house), Savannah GA, New Orleans, France and Italy.
In any relationship, a strong friendship first is most important to me with the interest in seeing what may develop.
