Last November I had a left knee replacement and just had my 1 year post op appointment with my doctor. The Dr. said it was perfect and I don't have an appointment for 4 years. I now am back at the gym and loving it without pain, The bonus is that I can now ride my bike. LIFE IS GOOD!!!
Been in the San Diego area for a little over a year now. I bought a house in El Cajon about 3 blocks from La Mesa. My husband's dream was to retire in the mountains of Idaho, he was one heck of a guy and I wanted him to live his dream so we moved up there. Unfortunately, after 9 years I lost him to kidney cancer. I moved off the mountain to Eagle, ID and stayed there for 6 years, now I am now closer to my son and family.
In 2009 I volunteered as a crew member for a hot air balloon pilot, it made for a fun Saturday and Sunday morning. Included a couple of photos; one is of the Disneyland 50th Anniversary balloon, other volunteer work, helping those in need or just need help. Enjoy cooking and eating healthy foods. When cooking for company I try to cook healthy food, but sometimes they request something they really like, like my homemade pot stickers.
My buddy is Mocha, he is a brown Standard Poodle and he is a fun dog. I have a wooden sign that I see when I come into my home that reads, "It's Never Too Late to Live Happily Ever After" and I honestly believe and feel it. In order to keep my artistic side working my hobby is art glass (both leaded glass and fused glass). The largest piece I've done so far is an oval piece 6'L x 5'3"W with some fused pieces in it as well as the stained glass that is in it, it was for a bistro. My next project is to do 2 pieces for 2 cabinet doors.
