When he passed away I had to become more assertive and take control of my own life. I was not sure if i wanted to remarry so I didn't do much dating. I have become more independent but I still miss the intimacy of a close retationship. I have spent 32 years in education, as an aide and then a teacher. I retired 6 years ago and I still miss my profession. I would go back to teaching but I think my age would prevent me from being accepted. Lately I have found myself really "looking" at men and wanting to get back into the mix but it is somewhat scary.
