Date people from Discovery Bay, United States. Disclaimer! This doesn't come natural to me and I’ve added to the, “About me section” several times......So here I go!... I only work 5 months out of the year. I'm very active in water sports, snow sports, dirt bike riding and travel. Although, traveling hasn’t been as much as I would like these days. I’ve been to Europe, South America, Mexico, Canada and other places. One of these days It would be great to make it out to Australia and Africa (my father was born there).
I own/operate a jet ski and boat rental business here on the California Delta. (I can’t believe I started this business when I was 21 and it's still around). 2 months out of the 5 that I work are 10-12hr days 7 days a week. Yes, it really sucks but having 7 months off is so worth the sacrifice. Plus I’ve included all the “F”ing off hours in there. So it’s not all bad….
When it comes to alone time, believe me I enjoy it very much, and need it. I believe the challenge in life is to find the balance. You must live life in a very conscious and present way to achieve this. But what do I know, 2 months out of the year I'm working 7 days a week. ;) If I were to describe myself I would say, ” I can be the life of the party or the quiet observer and everything else in between”. I've been told I think too much and sometimes I make things harder than they should be. I never thought myself to be a hopeless romantic. In fact, I really never knew what that meant . So I looked it up! I found there were several definitions. One of which, I believe, contribute to relationship failure. The other, I think the most common suited me. (A hopeless romantic dreams of who they will spend the rest of their life with and what the two of them will do together.) However, some of the other definitions makes me wonder why anyone would admit to being a hopeless romantic. Or is this a perfect example of me thinking too much?
The proudest moment and the most life changing experience was when I qualified and competed in the 2002 winter Olympics.
I hope one day to find a partner where we have found the ebb and flow of things. Most importantly, learn to nurture each other’s dreams and desires in life. …..
Alright! I've asked this question already on another dating site. But this site is the worst. Can you please tell me who writes your profiles? I mean, Holy sh**! They all sound the same. What the he** does, "Fun Loving" mean? "Happy Go-Lucky" Or "I Love To Laugh" what the h*ll is that? As if there's an alternative to any of them. It goes without saying! Right? Isn't that a kind of Oxymoron?.... It would be totally weird if I went on a date and she said..."Hi! it's great to finally meet you! I just wanted you to know that I'm a fun loving, happy go lucky, love to laugh kind of girl"... I would then say, "Oh good! I'm glad you told me because I wasn't so sure you were! The last girl I met, hated to laugh, hated fun and I can’t believe she wasn't happy go-lucky!.....Really?....I "Cringe" every time I read those over used lines. Or, I should say, never should be used lines. I've come to the conclusion that the women who use those lines are hopeless romantics....Why do you ask? Because those lines should only be used in fairy tale stories. Note: Fairy tale!...I'm sorry to say, hopeless romantics are doomed to repeated disappointment and in the end, Fail!
