I am divorced, after 20 years, with two children, 19 and 16, and am looking for someone who likes to be social, dance, go to the movies, play outdoors,BBQ with friends, listen to live music, and laugh. I love Starbucks Chai Tea Lattes, sushi, I love to watch football (I am a HUGE Steelers fan), read, go to the theatre (favorite so far has been "Wicked"), go to concerts where I can stand up and sing with the band, and would love to travel more. I am passionate about teaching ~ I LOVE what I get to do everyday, I am a volleyball coach now, and was a Collegiate softball player, I was also selected as Teacher of the Year for my school district for 2011. I can be a bit of a smart ass, but I have a big heart, care deeply, love my family, love to smile, love to flirt, love to dance, love to sing, especially in my car with the music really loud, riding motorcycles and quads, and I absolutely love just driving to the beach even for a few hours for beach therapy. My main goal in life is that I want to be an amazing, strong role model for my children. I like to run (even though I am slow), and have completed 4 half marathons since last August, but my Dr. wants me to take up bicycling because of a bad foot...so, I've just fixed my bike and have started this new trek.... I enjoy R&;B, classic rock, some country, and jazz ~ really anything that I can sing and dance too....I do like Facebook and yahoo messenger...I've got a BUCKET LISTstarted: jump out of a plane, parasail, scuba certified, see WICKED in New York, DisneyWorld, and the list goes on......just need to get started!!
I was asked what I'm looking for or what I want, and couldn't answer it, but after some soul searching, I've started my list:
spontaneous road trips
cuddling on the couch

lying down and staring up at the stars
fire in the fireplace
the sound and smell of the ocean
learning something new together
glass half full
watching the sunset
sharing food with chopsticks
dancing even when there's no music
talking for hours

Date a soulmate from Davis, United States. About me....I am a young 48. I am happy, healthy and active (not a health nut by any means), fun, positive, easy going lady. I am a dedicated parent, educated, own my home, and have a steady job. I work out of my home office and my hours are very flexible. I have 3 teenage daughters who are a big part of my life. My 18 year old is away at college and my 14 and 17 year old's primarily live with me. I have lived most of my life in the Bay Area. I currently live in Davis, but would have no problem relocating somewhere else (northern CA) in the near future. I am pretty simple, and easy to please, and do prefer quality over quantity. You would most likely see me dressed casually - in nice jeans,but I do like to get dressed up. I love the warm weather and being near water. I like to travel, love listening to music, entertaining, golf, cooking, wine tasting, camping, going to local concerts (I like new country, rock, ... no rap), enjoy sporting events, and doing activities outside like walking, hiking, boating, fishing, gardening, and biking. If I must be inside, then a movie or tv is good (I even watch football), a board game, or just listening to music and hanging out. I'd probably like doing anything if I'm with the right person.
About him... I would like to meet somebody who has some similar interests and values as I, but who can also bring something new to my life. He should be comfortable around kids (and dogs), a good communicator, honest, fit, athletic, have a sense of humor, and be affectionate. A serious side is good, but he must be playful, fun, and somewhat adventuresome. If he has kids, they should be a priority and he should respect that my kids are a priority to me.
