Date someone special from Davis, United States. Lonely??
Not really, but would be nice to meet a like-minded person. After coming through a long marriage, I am looking to first develop friendships and then see where things might lead.
Hoping to keep the gravity of meeting a "life partner" to a minimum on our first coffee date.
I am described as funny, witty, inane, neat, athletic, out-going, loyal, and compassionate. I am spiritual though not at all religious. I enjoy running (5 miles/day), riding (horses, bicycles, motorcycle), hiking, music, movies, and spending time with family and friends.
Certainly more casual than formal, prefer jeans to dresses, boots to high heels (okay you got me.. I am a tom boy) though I can be dressed up on occasion.
I am a morning person (in case you were wondering). I am writing this at 5:45 am.
I love music! Really like higher energy stuff mostly (best for running). Just not Jazz, metal, or opera (sorry, it's true).
I am a professional (veterinarian) and a mom. Both these jobs are very important to me and require a good deal of focus. I love what I do (most of it at least). I also have a small farm and raise some heritage breed chickens among other things. I really like working outside whenever possible.
What I would hope to find in a potential match: Humor, wit, compassion, passion, loyalty, and optimism
If you still have any interest after reading the above... shoot me an email. Maybe we can meet for coffee and wear our anti-gravity suits.
Meet a woman from Davis, United States. Hi.......I am originally from Louisiana and have been living in the Sacramento area for the past 4 years (and plan to stay for quite awhile). Love the area and have been enjoying learning new hobbies, sports, and outdoor activities. Enjoy just about anything from a good hot pizza and cold beer to wine-tasting and fine white table cloths. Most confortable in jeans hob knobbing around but can clean up into dress and heals when needed...or just for fun. I have a great job which affords me the flexibiilty and time for traveling, having fun, or just goofing around. I am somewhat old-fashioned with a twist of modernism (not too much). My Cajun roots often show in my cooking, speaking, dancing, and jokes.
What I am looking for....that is tough...."don't know what it is but know it when I see it." I appreciate chivalry and return the gestures. Someone who enjoys the same things I do but can also have interest which I can learn and vica versa. I enjoy spending time at home, as well as, traveling.
Date a soulmate from Davis, United States. Would I love to find someone terrific on here to spend the rest of my life with? Sure thing. But for now, do you like to hike, sail, kayak, enjoy good foodwine? Me too! I'm not posting my photo because I'm being shy for the moment, but drop me a line!
Meet people from Davis, United States. A great Sense of humor is a must! I love to laugh. you must like to do outdoor activities such as camping, go to the beach, lakes. Being adventurous. Taking a drive to new places, exploring, new places to eat.
Like to listen to Country to Rock music, local bands and concerts.
Date men and women from Davis, United States. I'm a down-to-earth person. I laugh a lot. I enjoy a conversation that makes me think, and like to be challenged with new ideas. Usually I prefer an evening with a book over hitting the bars, but live music is a good time. Any activity is fun, as long as it's with someone whose company I enjoy. Living a life to be proud of is more important to me than money or status. I'm active -- in the past I've done some bicycle touring (at the moment I'd have to train up to tour) and running (I prefer half-marathons to whole ones, but lately I'm running only 10K distance). I go to ballet class a few nights a week. I spent last summer/fall somewhat obsessed over my new motorcycle -- a 2003 BMW F650CS -- and riding it temporarily replaced some of my other activities. But I'm ready to get back into other things now.
I'm looking for someone to be my partner in life; who appreciates my strengths and will balance my weaknesses. He'll have a wry sense of humor and a ready smile. He'll be responsible, but not TOO responsible. He'll be somewhat organized, and not mind that I'm NOT that organized or especially neat. He'll enjoy the outdoors--hiking, camping, cycling, running. He'll like to explore new places. He'll have a spirit of adventure, but also be happy staying home.
About my photos: they range over several years. But the primary is a year ago, and the "black dress" ones are about 6 months ago.
