I am passionate about being active, challenging myself mentally and physically, and living my life to the fullest. I would like to find someone with their own passions (not necessarily the same as mine) and substance to their life. I try to enjoy the things most important to me and live a relatively simple life other than that. That means buying the latest and greatest every month is not at the top of my priority list. How about we grab some backpacks and take a trip to some crazy, exotic country instead? Have you been to India, South-East Asia or Madagascar? Great, neither have I, I'll check the ticket prices! Oh, I'm a bit spontaneous also.
As for my partner... being educated (not just formally), easy going, social, and having a good sense of humor is important to me. Your pictures would include you being outside and loving it, ear to ear in grins, family shots, etc.. 20 photos of someone drinking while in their clubbing clothes is not the kind of "quality" I am looking for. I would LOVE to find someone that I could converse with, joke around with, is not afraid to challenge me (or herself), and embraces the many adventures life has to offer. Ever been hiking under a full moon?, surfed naked in Big Sur (shhh!)?, climbed El Cap?, jumped on a bus in a foreign city(with no idea of where it's going) just for the experience? Meh. Anyway, that's my laundry list. I honestly don't know if the above list applies to me, but it is what I strive to be. I feel like I get close to my ideals about 80-90% of the time.

I have two children, my daughter is a College Freshmen and my son is a Jr in High school. They are both exceptional people striving to make the world a better place. I love to travel and meet new people. I had the opportunity earlier this year to serve a medical mission in Africa and plan on doing another one in India next year. I also spent a week doing a yoga teacher training last month in Sedona Arizona with 160 amazing people and plan to do another one in Mexico, next Spring.
I love my profession, it is my passion and my calling. I do not consider what I do work, it is truly enjoyable and am so grateful to have worked in the same profession x 10 years. I also love hiking, camping, backpacking, yoga, running, really anything outdoors. Some random info: My house is always filled with fresh flowers, they make me happy. I live in a community setting in Davis where we grow and share our organic gardens and flowers. I LOVE animals, especially my dog Bella, I love to sing and dancing barefoot in my kitchen to really loud music (when no one is watching) is one of my favorite past times and has been since I was a kid:)
