Whatever the occasion, I’m usually happy and I like to keep the atmosphere light. I can be quite talkative should I happen upon someone who is the same. What I'm searching for is someone who enjoys talking about anything under the sun. Silence is never a good thing. Conversation is the only way you can truly get to know someone. She should be someone who can be completely comfortable dressed up for a night on the town or casual and somewhat dirty in the woods hiking or camping. She wouldn’t mind watching different sporting events, preferably live, from Hockey to Football. I must admit that I'm a long time Washington Capitals and Minnesota Vikings fan...but I have also been a fan of the Giants since 2001. Oh, and a plus if you are familiar with and can handle watching martial arts and MMA...at least not overtly show the rolling of the eyes look! And even more so if you golf (or are willing to learn) and/or snowboard.
Over the past several years I admit that I put off exercising like I used to and gained a few pounds. But recently I've gotten more active despite my work schedule and am trying get in a bit more exercise during the week. It would be nice if you enjoy some form of exercise or outdoor activity. Walking, biking or running together could be fun. Finally it would be nice to find a girl who loves to cook. I cook and grill whenever I get the chance and am always trying new recipes from around the world...depends on my mood. It also doesn't help that I watch the Food Network quite a bit for a lot of ideas. So, another person to share this with would be great. Then again, I'd gladly cook!...any food allergies I should be aware of though?

I have 2 wonderful kids, 2 great jobs that i'm very happy and proud of. I am very secure; I have 2 houses, a travel trailer, a boat, 3 vehicles, a motorcycle and 2 dogs. I respect her as the mother of my 2 kids, and i'd still be there for her for emergency needs.

I own a HandyMan service and I really enjoy what I do for a living. It's good, honest work and there's plenty of it. I'm good with my hands and I enjoy completing a project, helping a client repair, rebuild and beautify their home. I don't mind working hard, getting dirty, covered in sawdust or paint. You'll usually see me in 501s and a Tshirt, however, I do clean up well so I won't embarrass you when we go out.
I have 3 daughters who I love very much and hang with whenever possible. My youngest is finishing high school, my middle is in college and my first born is off on her own adventure in Louisiana. So that leaves me with my best friend of 12 years...Duchess, a cool German Shepard who I rescued when she was 1year old. She goes almost everywhere with me so if you don't mind a few stray dog hairs on your LBD, you get bonus points! If you do mind, we'll have to take your car...or I'll brush them off when I help you out of my truck.
I've held a private pilot's license for the last 22 years and have owned 4 planes, primarily based at Petaluma Municipal. 5 years ago I started flying aerobatics and absolutely love it. It's the most free I've ever felt...kind of like being a bird. This doesn't mean that you have to go flying with me, just please have an appreciation for my passion for the sport. Bonus points if you do want to go up! Double points for inverted flight.
I'm also into music...always have been...and I play guitar...loudly. How well is a matter of opinion. I lean towards 80's/90's rock and most recently have been getting into Christian Rock/Metal. I spend a good amount of time at The Mystic, Last Day Saloon, George's and Spanky's watching live music. And I like to dance. Again, how well is a matter of opinion. Bonus points if you like going to see live shows, double bonus if you like my kind of music, triple bonus if you can rock a pair of True Religion or Miss Me jeans, heels and a cute top while doing it!

Though, one drama that really turned me into a sobbing fool was, "The Music Never Stopped".
I eat well and work out regularly to stay healthy. I feel that really all we have in life is our bodies. I want mine to last so I can be strong and active, able to share life fully with those I love for many more years to come.
People who know me would say I'm kind of quiet in new social situations, though I warm up quickly once the ice is broken. I'm not so much shy or uptight, but more just a keen observer to start. Once I feel a common vibe, I can warm up to let my expressiveness and wit show through.
I don't think that common vibe has to be from someone similarly low-keyed; I get along and am attracted to wall flowers and loudmouths alike ;-) I think its more what the eyes say than anything else....
