Lucky enough to retire and land in the beautiful San Francisco bay area, IРІР‚в„ўm now turning the page on a new chapter in my life and looking for a kindred soul to share all the good things that life has to offer. I have a keen sense of how important it is to all of us to treasure what time we have left and pay tribute to those no longer here through living every moment to its fullest.
These are the things I would love to share with someone special; horseback riding in the Santa Cruz redwoods, chasing my dog at the beach, working on the house, cooking, eating out, drinking great wine, watching the sun set at the Crow's Nest, spending time with interesting people, watching classic films and discovering РІР‚?smallРІР‚в„ў amazing movies, listening to great blues music in small venues, reading the same book together and forming our own private book club where intellectual pretentiousness is outlawed, staying in bed all day with the paper, books and coffee a whole Sunday, meeting someone elseРІР‚в„ўs grown kids and introducing them to mine, laughing, giggling and travelling.
Me? I love the outdoors and am not the least bit afraid to get my hands dirty or tear up my nails. IРІР‚в„ўm in good shape but I hate exercise with no purpose- I want to get somewhere or improve a skill- hike, ride, garden, fix up my house, practice ballet, swim or (believe it or not) clean house. IРІР‚в„ўm curious about everything and everybody- I love to hear other peopleРІР‚в„ўs experiences and opinions. I love animals, children, books and interesting people. I hate pretentiousness, self-absorption, bigotry and meanness. Acts of kindness take my breath away. IРІР‚в„ўm learning Spanish.
What do I do with my time? Read, write, keep up with old friends and find new ones, take care of my animals, spend time with my grown daughter, ride my horse, travel, enjoy the beach, work on my house, volunteer in local schools, go to blues concerts and РІР‚?MoeРІР‚в„ўs AlleyРІР‚в„ў, cook, garden, do volunteer РІР‚?search engine optimizationРІР‚в„ў for my friends with small businesses, shop at farmersРІР‚в„ў markets and enjoy the giant redwoods off my deck. IРІР‚в„ўm currently having a 1961 Pontiac Catalina convertible restored and dropping a 421 SD (super duty) engine in it. I intend to drive it from Texas back to California in a РІР‚?Thelma and LouiseРІР‚в„ў re-enactment, with one of my long time high school girlfriends (without the Grand Canyon scene of course). I love muscle cars and car guys.
