My basic background.
I grew up in Pennsylvania, moved to Dallas Texas (great people), then Newport Beach, then Seattle Washington and now back to sunny Southern California.
I have two children I love dearly. My daughter is 20 and my son 17.
I divorced four years ago and had been married 16 years. Please do not think that I take the institution and commitment lightly, just because I got divorced. I truly think people should do all in their power to work things out, if that is all possible.
I own my own business. This provides me with the opportunity to spend time doing things that I think are important. I hope finding the right person will give me the incentive to spend that important time away from work.
I live pretty close to the ocean in Corona Del Mar. The benefit here is that I can wake up to see the sun on the water, to smell the fresh salt air and to see those great sunsets. Again, all these would be better shared with that special someone.
As far as a hobby, I love golf. I know it can be boring to some, but I have played since I was 6 years old and I am actually pretty accomplished. I think it is important for people to have and maintain something in their lives that gives them that added satisfaction. I will support whatever interest you have as well.
I like practically all things. Dinners out, home cooked meals sharing a bottle of wine, walks on the beach, traveling, etc, etc.
I really don't care what we do, I just want to do it with someone that I care about.
I think that you will find me very interested in the needs of others before my own. Satisfaction shouldn't only be self serving. Seeing someone else happy is really what it is all about.
I think it is important to stay healthy, to look and feel your best. This takes effort. I have worked out for so long I can't say I enjoy it, but it is just something you need to do for yourself and others. Although outward appearance is important in our society, it naturally has to be backed up by internal qualities and we all want someone that will treat us with the same respect, love and care that we offer them.
I mentioned my kids. They live with me around half the time. they're like any kids, sometimes demanding but then aren't we all at times.
I hope I can find someone that makes me nervous but someone that I can be comfortable with and feels the same way with me.
The idea of dating is a bit daunting after all these years, so I hope to find the one person that completes my journey as soon as possible.

I have been doing some travel to promote my book (media blitz's, TV, radio and signings), and by the way, all of my royalties go directly to charity, the way it should be and the right thing to do.
