People tell me that I am straight person with a good sense of humor and a twinkle in my eye. I am divorced since 3 years and I have 2 daughters of 23 years and 26 years. They are my loved ones. My oldest daughter is working at the Norwegian Consulate in Rio de Janeiro and my youngest daughter is studying for a Master at Berkeley (Cal). My personal interests (in addition to my daughters) are books, golf, outdoor activities (anything from walking in the forest/mountains, swimming in the ocean, cross-county skiing to just lying flat on my back on a beach). I also like to travel. In my work, I have been fortunate enough to travel to many countries but I'm still interesting in more travels with someone special.

I went to business school in New Hampshire and lived in Mass. for five years. I've been married twice and learned a lot from those experiences. I think everyone should have to get divorced before getting married! It might help us deal with our own issues and make a better choice for a spouse.
I've worked at my own businesses for most of my life. Software consulting and some real estate development. I have been fortunate in those businesses. I'm semi-retired and have time to pursue my hobbies and to give great attention to a relationship.
I'm easy going and kind, my dry sense of humor seems to always be “on”. I can find humor in the most serious of situations. I’m full of contradictions just like most people, sarcastic at times. I'm usually making fun of myself. Rodney Dangerfield was/is my favorite comedian.
I have always had what I would consider interesting hobbies. I learned to scuba in my twenties. I've had offshore race boats for 15 years. Although I can do without the usual alcohol soaked boating crowd. I'm a helicopter pilot and have had five different helicopters over the years.
I've been active in the animal rescue world for many years. I run my own non-profit private foundation providing grants to animal organizations that are making a difference in the animal rescue movement. Oh, and I have 6 rescue dogs. You have to "walk your talk"...lol
I like a woman who is warm and kind, loyal and committed, smart, and with common sense, passionate and uninhibited, active in her life , healthy and exercises often, someone who has hobbies, she has a network of girlfriends to spend time with and to support her, I also prefer a tall and slender woman, but aren’t married to that specific look either. I've been thinking about how I could describe the physical aspect of the woman I find appealing. After some thought I guess I would say that I am looking for someone who is in good shape, and actively takes care of themselves. Any "Junk in the trunk" is big turnoff for me.
Eventually I would like to spend time together daily with someone i date. It’s the little things we do together that really make a relationship special. Making dinner, or a deep conversation while we are soaking in the tub. Someone who likes to travel and has some time to do so would be nice. I’d like to live together eventually. Getting married a third time seems unnecessary at this stage in life, but once you find the right person and time has proved that to be the case, that could happen too.
I've done some therapy over the years and feel like I'm pretty good at understanding my feelings and interacting with a mate in a constructive and positive way. Hopefully you can too !

Date single man from United States. I think describing oneself is (or at least should be) an almost impossible task, but . . . I'm intelligent, with a mind that has always lent itself to storing an incredible amount of esoteric information and trivia, and if I concentrate really hard I can even balance my checkbook. I stay active every day --- even if it's just long dogwalks around town --- and can still fit into the same pants I wore in high school. (No comment, please, on my fashion sense!) I am intensely loyal to my friends; I don't have many, but those I do have I would do anything for. (They're worth it, too!) I am more comfortable in a flannel shirt and jeans, but I do clean up fairly well when the occasion demands. My life experience thusfar has produced someone who can fix a carburator, saddle a horse, furl a sail, and write a fairly decent short story or sonnet, but don't ask me to explain the intricacies of your stock portfolio. (Since when is "IRA" something to do with stocks and portofios? Where MY people come from, they carry Tommy guns and speak in a thick brogue! LOL) I love long, intense conversations peppered with piercing, hysterically funny quips, and I can blend in with virtuallly any situation, provided I'm not asked to tolerate phony, self-obsessed people for too long. I like anything from funky old coffeeshops to horse trails to opera to ballgames, but I draw the line at tractor-pulls, chewing tobacco, and belt buckles better suited for use as turkey platters. I love old cars, really old movies, musty old bookshops, and the front seat on rollercoasters. I also love the wilderness, but would not consider hunting --- unless the prey is riding loud, fume-spewing snowmobiles. I've been around collies literally since the day I was born, and I try very hard each day to be the type of person my collie deserves as his owner.I would love to meet someone whose intelligence is matched by her sense of humor --- someone who can be both wickedly funny as well as remarkably wise.

I’m naturally happy both in work and recreation. In my real life, I absolutely enjoy my work as corporate teacher and counselor. I especially enjoy the social interaction of my students, associates, and friends. I am also a student in a Master’s program for education. And then there is the meaningful time, a place reserved separately for special people to create memorable moments in your life.
When I’m not working, I look forward to opportunity to escape. I enjoy renovating my Airstream travel trailer, imaginatively taking fantastic trips or just hanging out. Weather permitting; I also enjoy being on my boat for water skiing or just floating. Sometimes, I simply enjoy driving up the beautiful coast line of California, hanging out, walking through the shops, or just parked along the beach taking in the serenity.
Other times, I naturally enjoy being home listening to music, watching videos, or reading.
