Sooooo.....since I haven't gotten what I want and don't plan to spend years here (as many of you claim to have done) and having learned a bit more about what I am searching for, I am rewriting my profile. Well, here goes......
The stated age range is flexible by only a couple of years, and then only if you write me one h..ll of an email. Looking for a monogamous long-term relationship. One that will include shared families and friends. While hand holding and cuddling by the fire are wonderfully nice, an intimate relationship that is both deeper and more exciting helps build a connection that withstands the challenges of time. Guy pals are fun and travel companions nice to have, but I am looking for a bit of added spice in the relationship.
The stuff about interests is very flexible for me as long as it isn't one dimensional. In my past lives I owned and rode horses, had dogs, cats, birds and lizards, harvested and canned food, caught, skinned and cleaned fish, hiked and tent camped, bicycled across Nebraska, white water rafted the Ocoee, cross country skied, sailed inland lakes, and went to Road America races. Even though a lot of it was out of my comfort level and I ended up in the hospital twice, I enjoyed those experiences and would be happy to do scaled down age appropriate version.. My exposure to theater, opera, concerts, museums and other cultural events is minimal and I would love to do more of those types of activities. I took 10 years of piano but haven't played for 30 years, can't carry a tune, but I got rhythm and would love to dance.
My personality is a mix of ENTJ and INTP. You can google those although just NT will give you a strong sense of how I think and act. While a bit unconventional in my beliefs and attitudes, behavior-wise still small-town midwest Protestant girl -- at least in public and most of the time! I am attracted to those with equally strong personalities (but not necessarily the same type) with an edgy type of humor. Looking for someone who is also well grounded and stable but at the right place and time can let loose and be a little crazy or at least has a bit of adventure left in their soul. Perpetually curious I seek same. Neat...but not too neat. Clean...but not too clean. Romantic...but not too romantic. Nice looking...but not too nice looking.
