Date someone special from California, United States. Hi, thanks for reading my profile.
I am a father to a beautiful 9, soon to be 10, year old girl. I can say there is never ending amazement as I watch her grow up and learn from her through her eyes. The best part is her curiosity, the why's and how comes. I think she got that from me. So, yes, I think I'm a good dad and want to even be better. I hope to find someone who has a child, or children, around the same age as my daughter. Give or take a year or two.
My life also involves my career. I'm an electrician for a utility company..... We will get into that later. At times it can be demanding but I do not bring it home or make it my life.
Those who know me best would tell you I'm friendly, compassionate, funny. I've been told I smile through my eyes, although I'm not really sure what that means. I will help just about anyone and for the most part, enjoy doing it. I am loyal, trustworthy, a say what you mean, mean what you say kind of guy. The game playing is such a waste of time and energy. So those kind of games? Not from this guy! I try not to take life to serious but there are those moments....so yes I do have a serious side, yet a very playful one and I'm looking for the same in a partner. A quick wit and a little sarcasm never hurts either.
In my spare time I'm usually outside. Yard work or working on my house takes up a little time but is a great way to relax. I'm not much of a tv watcher but a good movie with even better company? I certainly welcome the idea. Yes, I do like the typical, and I'm sure you've read it a hundred times.......camping, hiking, biking to name a few. I'm not a hunter. For me it's exploring, checking things out and seeing what's around me. I haven't traveled out of the country but I'd like to remedy that someday. So even a weekend trip to go somewhere new is just as appealing as a long, well deserved vacation.
I work out almost every morning before work. It's a great way to start the day!! I do eat healthy. No, I don't over do it. How can anyone give up pizza and beer? I do take care of myself and hope you do to.
As far as what I want in a partner? Besides what I've mentioned previously, honesty, respect, trust, communication. ( I wouldn't ask for more than I'm willing to give). Someone with values, character, morales and knows what it means to be in a relationship. No part of any good relationship should be one sided. The girly type who doesn't mind getting dirty from time to time.
I could go on and on with descriptions of who and what I'm looking for. What it comes down to is chemistry and whether or not we are right for each other. A few thousand characters surely isn't going to do it, but I guess it's a start. So I will say this, if any of this has sparked an intrest, drop me a note.
