I have little time for unfettered capitalism. While i appreciate focus and hard work,I also appreciate finding things we love -things that we can focus our energy on other than simply making dollar bills. I attempt to live with humility, love and compassion. I've been told that i can engage people in any situation and anywhere in the world. I am most proud of my approachability and warmth because I got them from my mama. :)
My son graduated from college this year which made me the proud mother of a Harvard alumnus. He is grateful to many people for his opportunity. He is moving to NYC.
I am the last of 10 children and though my siblings and I don't spend a lot of time together, I feel close to most of them. They have each cared for me in their unique ways and have shaped my values and interests.
Finally, I'm grateful for my job through which i work with local communities and high school and college students.
