So let me introduce myself. I work part-time as a comedian, airline pilot, and dog whisperer. lol. Get it?! But seriously though! I'm a down to Earth type of guy. I'm not the jealous type but I don't appreciate a partner who is flirting with the whole world either. I don't do well with those who are never wrong and can't or won't see anything through someone's else's eyes. I do like to do outdoorsy type of stuff: hiking, surfing (although I suck), jet-skiing, snowboarding, jogging, etc. Even though I suck at some of theses things, its not a matter of being awesome at them, its about having fun, right?!
Currently, I'm spending a lot of my time fixing up my place by painting, installing ceiling fans, installing a whirlpool bathtub and new wood flooring, but it's at my own discretion, so I can put some of those things off to have fun with someone like you. I am a firm believer in communication, and to that end on a first date, I like to initially just go out for drinks, listen to a little blues or jazz and talk about anything...past, present, future aspirations; everything. My partner would be career-minded yet nurturing; loving but not mothering (with me); and willing to follow the lead of an intelligent confident man, yet retain her own individuality, independence, willing to speak her mind when need be; even push back if needed.
It is a new world out here. Since my divorce I have been trying to understand some of the stories I am hearing. I am just now hearing about men these days living off women and using them as ATMs. This is troublsome and befuddling to me; men should be self-sufficient with a car, residence, and job. If not, get those first before seeking a serious relationship. They should also be willing to pay for casual dates without being overly presumptuous about physical intimacy at the end of the night. The process of a casual date is how you get to know someone. Come on guys, chivalry is not totally dead!
