Date someone special from China Lake, United States. Hi, my name is Kevin, and I just recently moved back to Southern California, after living in the midwest for a few years. I'm originally from California, and love being back in the sunshine!! The first thing I did when I moved back was take a road trip from Los Angeles to Sacramento, stopping in Santa Barbara and Monterey along the way. I'm a total fan of the beach, I love the water and love to surf/bodyboard. I'm also really looking forward to going back to San Francisco/Berkeley, and just spending the day hiking through the City and cruising down Telegraph Avenue.
Two of my greatest passions in life are music and politics (Obama!!! Yep, I admit it, I'm an Obama fan, just because he's the first cool President (Bill Clinton was kinda cool, but, I mean, Obama actually GETS it, which adds a whole other level to his coolness) of my lifetime. Plus, he's smart, which is also good, I guess, if you're into that kinda thing.) I'm also a news junkie, because it's just like reality tv, except it's actually REALITY tv. So,it would be totally great to meet someone on here who knows who Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, and Jon Stewart are just so we could totally nerd out and talk about what's going on in the world.
Music is my other passion, as I grew up with old-time rock, such as the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Buddy Holly, and grew into really digging bands like Metallica, Sabbath, and some other, more obscure bands like Within Temptation, As I Lay Dying, Dream Theater, and Queensryche. If the band has a vocalist with some melody, and some great guitar riffs, I'll probably like it.
Family is also really important to me, as they are the rock in my life. I owe everything I am to how they raised me, and I realize how lucky I am to have them.
My perfect match would be someone I could have just as much fun with renting a movie from Netflix and relaxing at home as going out and dancing the night away. Also, if I could find someone who loves the outdoors, that would be awesome as well. Overall, I'm just looking for someone who's up for anything, and who I know I'll have a good time with no matter what we do.
