The search for fun and excitement has taken me to many places and taught me a cornucopia of skills. The best way to move a piano…check. Need to serve dinner to three hundred people, no problem. What’s the easiest way to handle a ten foot wave breaking in three inches of water… well in all honesty there is no easy to deal with that but if it happens trust me and go limp and flat, it will hurt less. What I haven’t learned by doing I learned by reading. I love to read and watch movies, do art and relax.
So what am I looking for? I want someone who I can share life with. I started out life thinking I was a loner but found out I am a really gregarious person who loves to talk and spend time with my friends and family. That’s where you come in. Since then I've tried dating but it seems a little strange. I don't like moving too fast and really want to know the person. Commitment doesn't come easy with today's society. I've recently bought a 40-acre ranch outside of Chico in the foothills. My neighbors are the fox family under the barn, the four deer who wander by each evening, an occasional bobcat or bear amble by on their way to their next meal. It's about 20 minutes northeast of Chico, so just far enough for a clear view of the stars and quiet times in the hammock and by the campfire ring, but close enough to bounce into town most days.
As a single dad, my daughter is very important to me, but I also share custody with her mother and it's all good, no drama. The arrangement we have give my daughter and I plenty of time together, in addition to giving me plenty of time for myself, friends, and maybe someone special.
