I believe that most of the time. we are attracted to people and we don`t know why and it doesn`t fit any checklist or adhere to the results yielded by any questionaire. that being said. here goes i hope to attract someone who will make me laugh. I want to be with someone who enjoys being alive and doesn`t sweat the small stuff. All my pictures are within a 5 year time frame leaning heavily towards 3 and 5 years ago when I was in relationships and pictures of me were taken. More recent pictures are marked as such as it seems I’m now aging in dog years after passing the 45 years of age landmark. Muscle mass, strength, running speed, and hairline are all declining rapidly ;-) None of the recent pictures are particularly flattering but I thought if I posted bad pictures then you’d be pleasantly surprised when or if we meet. Of course it could also mean that there are no remaining angles, lighting, clothing, or lack thereof, possible to portray me favorably ;-)
As this is an election year I should mention that I enjoy conversations on politics and religion with those who have thought through their positions. Rather than parroting second hand opinions without thought, consideration, and study of their own. Those who are considerate of opposing viewpoints, willing to listen and respond in an intelligent and thoughtful manner. It would be even better discussing aforementioned topics with those who understand and can apply the rules of logic and understand fallacious arguments. I should also mention that any Tea party members, Republicans, or those who think their listening to news on Fox “news” are probably going to be a poor match for myself. I actually was a Republican before taking quite a few classes in political science, economics, and learning to think for myself. I should also point out I have little love for the Democratic Party or politicians in general. But I’m amazed that I can still be amazed by the Tea Party’s lack of knowledge of fundamental economics. The republican’s denial of truth in science and history (both past and present history) and that Fox news has twice the viewership of its closest competitor. I’m beginning to think the Mayan’s could be right ;-) at least for America. Unfortunately this last paragraph is going to eliminate a large portion of the women in OC ;-) But truth be told I’m using Match just to look at my daily matches while I try to wake up with a cup of coffee before heading out for a run. If something comes from it… great. My experiences while a member however were not positive enough to continue trying as it seems Men do not have sole bragging rights on duplicity ;-)

I would 1st like to apologies to all those who I have not responded or replied to your Chat request. I have neglected myself and my promise of friendship (work, work and more work) this past year. So in doing my year end inbox clean up I realized that I never stopped and looked at the wonderful people that actual replied to my original request and tried to become my friend. So I am give myself 3 month to re-kindle the ambers of friendship or to blaze a new passion of making friends.

I have been a good committed husband and partner for about 30 years, an involved and respected Dad for nearly 27 years, a shining businessman for over 24 years...,I have "paid" people who describe me as energetic ,intelligent ,caring, kind, smart, handsome, humble ,compassionate,bold, the type of person that you would want on your side, a very well balanced and real fun guy,with a big soulfull heart.... I am strong, I am rebuilding ! I have a keen sense of humor ...I have my 26 year old son and my 10 year old adopted daughter...As you can probably tell,my family and friends mean alot to me ! The friends that I had to" pay " for the kind words, not so much ! I am Hopetomistic and Carefrontational (yes,I made up those words...I guess I need to be kept busy...) This is new to me??
At 5'6'' 175 lbs.I played College football and basketball, so you can tell that I am spirit strong, dedicated and loyal as well as a hard worker...Boxed successfully well past my mid-fortys...so I am not just a pretty boy and I will never be a male model , I know never say never... but I still look pretty good ! (OK ,you be the judge??) I am not photogenic and my son took the picture when I woke up...I look much better in person but I will keep the picture cause it is the real thing and if anything I am real !
