So what am I looking for? Good question, I’ll let you know when I find it. Actually a really good friend at first, someone to do a lot with or nothing and still have fun. Someone who is easy to be around, happy, funny and just comfortable to be around. I think we know what I’m talking about here. I think chemistry is important, but find it can be instant at times and other times it takes awhile, who knows.
My ideal partner would be active as well. Up for new challenges, likes to explore, intelligent, educated about the world around us and enjoys what they do. They take care of themselves emotionally and physically, can enjoy and few drinks and still stay in control. They are over the ex and look forward to what’s next. I am a very good cook, I love to barbecue. I make crepes, pancakes or french toast for my kids almost every weekend. I have worked in the hospitality industry for most of my life as a cook, manager or waiter, so I have a tendency to spoil my kids by doing everything for them that I can in the kitchen, in their mother's absence, although as they have gotten older, they have become much more interested in helping out.
As for me, transitioning into a golf career has been my focus for the last several years, first to try to qualify for the Champions tour as a playing professional, second, to start a career as a golf instructor somewhere in the area as I move out of the service industry. I have to admit that after joining Match, I feel like I haven't had nearly as much fun as some of you women traveling the world and getting pictures taken in a bunch of exotic places to fill my profile. Oh well, later with that as my kids grow up!

I have been self employed for the past 20 years (mostly in the printing business) and moved to the Sacramento area 8 years ago to become a Real Estate Appraiser (not all adventures come out as planned...lol!). I am currently a distributor for a new golf club manufacturer located in Southern California called Ashdon Golf. I have many interests and like spending most of my spare time outdoors. I enjoy golf, bike riding, hikes, going to downtown Sacramento (or San Francisco), travel, ball games, concerts, etc. I'm pretty easy going and would rather laugh than debate world affairs. My home has a lot of fruit trees and I enjoy gardening and taking care of the yard. I am looking forward to some traveling over the next few years to some places that I've never been before. New Orleans, Florida, Alaska and Ireland are on my list of places I wish to visit. I practice a fairly healthy lifestyle but I am not obsessed with it. I exercise several days a week and try and eat right and I love cooking and making meals at home for friends; especially in the summer! My favorite food is Mexican and I love hole in the wall taqueria’s.
