Ideally, you are someone who is grounded but can see humour in adversity, and can experience joy. Health is important, but I believe it is possible to over emphasize health and exercise -- not to diminish either. I like to stay fit and have been blessed with an active metabolism; I love to eat, but don't over eat. I'm not a bad cook, and have a very specialties I haven't forgotten from my pre-marriage days.
My political views are mainly Conservative, but I'm leaning more toward Libertarian. Many of my friends are liberal/progressive but we get along fine, even after heated political "discussions." More often than not, once "liberals" get past the idea that I'm on "the other side," and take the time to know me, we usually get along better than people from our base points of view. Odd, eh? More often than not, I get along better with those of "liberal" points of view.
I like to hear and learn about other perspectives on all aspects of life. As such, I consider myself rather tolerant, even if I disagree or don't personally accept other points of view or lifestyles. I am fascinated by people.
Affection is important to me--VERY important. I am an affectionate man and love to hold hands, hug, kiss, etc. I would assume you are similar. I stop short of being needy and possessive, allowing for mutual expression. Sex is also VERY important, but it isn't every thing. If sex is only the icing on the cake for you, we likely won't be compatible. To me--a man--sex meaning all the aforementioned affection stuff, and then a little more. I like to give as much as receive.
If you are a "keep it close to the vest" type of person, you will likely want to meet someone else. I spent 31 years with that, and, well, here I am.
Personality wise, I tend to be a slow starter as I am, by nature, rather shy. You wouldn't know that after you get to know me, and vice-versa. Well, most of the time I'm like that. ;-)
I am more spiritual than religious, though I had been actively involved in an institutional religion for the past 30 years. I don't believe one needs to join a church or synagogue, etc, to love God, but I don't criticize people who like to find camaraderie with like kinds. Group prayer and shared mutual beliefs can be a good thing.
