In a nut shell, I’m 50, 6’0 tall, workout about four times a week either at the gym, on the American River trail riding my bike or taking my lab for a walk. I’m extremely active hiking, water crafting, riding quads or just working around my house. I’ve been married once, my ex has three teenage kids that I think the world of and I found I really do like kids and would enjoying them if they were around.
I am very easy to get along with, no really! (Ask my dog if you don’t believe me) I do have a good sense of humor and enjoy laughing, especially at myself. I’m educated, I don’t mean to brag, but I can fix or build just about anything. I don’t have any baggage, I’m not recovering from anything, and I am happy that my ex and I have moved on and wish each other the best.
I have a very open heart and I’m not afraid to express how I truly feel. I will always respect the one I love, you will always feel important when you’re with me and no, chivalry is not a lost social skill, at least not with me. I am open and honest to a fault, if there is such a thing.
So what am I looking for? Good question, I’ll let you know when I find it. Actually a really good friend at first, someone to do a lot with or nothing and still have fun. Someone who is easy to be around, happy, funny and just comfortable to be around. I think we know what I’m talking about here. I think chemistry is important, but find it can be instant at times and other times it takes awhile, who knows.
My ideal partner would be active as well. Up for new challenges, likes to explore, intelligent, educated about the world around us and enjoys what they do. They take care of themselves emotionally and physically, can enjoy and few drinks and still stay in control. They are over the ex and look forward to what’s next. They are engaging, emotionally available, respectful, empathetic, loving, caring and have a thirst for life. I’ve read this several time on other profiles but it seems so fitting; “I want a woman who will love me as much my dog does” (Without the slobber) and no, I don’t mean right way. Someone who is interested in developing a long-term relationship.
