i also enjoy travel, as i'm sure most people do. would be nice to have the time to just travel the world. i do manage to squeeze in a trip here and there. made it to italy two years ago. have also been to germany, austria, crete and other areas of western europe. ive been to many states, canada and many of trips to mexico.
i have two sons, twenty somethings. good kids on their own and working their way through school.

Some guys sling golf clubs, I sling guitar. But I don't play out much anymore, have not played in a club in years, and only play and sing in Church these days.
Favorite music, Beethoven's 7th 2nd Mvt, The Moldau, Rolling Stones "Gimme Shelter" (know virtually every Stones by heart, lyrics and Open G, met Taylor quite a few times in LA), Beatles every song except the ones with too much Yoko, David Bowie, "Ziggy Stardust ....", The Soul Stirrers "I Am a Pilgrim" and all of them with Sam Cooke (best Gospel group ever), King Crimson "In the Court of the Crimson King",The Band, Nanci Griffith, entire collection, The Stanley Brothers, Alison Krauss, 3O3 (Krunk), Cold Play, Coltrane, J.S.B., ... Next challenge as an instrument, Northumbrian Pipes (currently having a set made in UK).
I am a movie nut. I not only watch, but I study them; I love stories. I am currently working on three stories that I hope to produce within the next year or two, a screenplay. Actually, I usually write a sort of a short story, or really a treatment, then flesh it out.
Someone asked me today what my favorite movie is. I don't have a favorite, but I have favorites, here are a few:
Comedy (really sort of a black comedy) - "Nights of Cabiria" (Felini, starring his wife for life, Giulietta Masina, a woman any man who cares more about talent than looks would love. They never divorced, were married 51 years, and in this movie you can see why he loved her so), war drama - "Apocalypse Now", violent kickass awesome - "Oldboy" (leave it alone Spielberg and Smith), sociological drama - "Drunken Angel", historical drama - "Sansho the Baliff", Kenji Mizoguchi, largely considered the father of feminism in film in Japan, I will stop because you don't have time to read all of my favorites. Really I should say who are my favorite directors, and I am the same way with music. I love almost every genre. Favorite actor, right now probably Song Kang Ho, Korean. The guy is so good, cracks me up with comedy, but awesome dramatic actor too.
