Date single man from California, United States. I'm happy in my own skin, as it were. I try to be more open and positive then negative and controlling. I believe that positive people are more attractive then those that have a more closed agenda in life. I believe in monogamy.
I like to think I've matured over the years. I don't let little crap bother me, I'm not one to pass judgement on people or say rude things behind their back. I think it's important to stay neutral about other peoples beliefs and not get sucked into unhealthy environments.
I've been c s over 14 years and prefer those who don't have drug and alcohol "problems".
I live alone with dog and cat, but that doesn't make up for lack of human comforts. My neighbors and friends are all very close and important to me. I'm very supportive of my two girls (20 and 25) at whatever they do, but I do try to help guide them with things like going to college, and dealing with the do's and don'ts of life.
I don't care for 'angry' people or those that see everything in life as an issue. I would prefer someone who is not looking to be 'rescued' but someone who has something to contribute.
I also find it awkward to describe myself. On the personal level I have had many interests over the years, I have been to college a number of times, I have two bachelor degrees but I never pursued those lines of eduction much. I have a moderately social life, always open to meeting new people.
