I grew up in the bay area, and have remained here to stay close with my family who I see regularly. Communication and proximity are very important to me. I don't have much interest in spending time in SF, where most of the nice women see to be. I feel couped up when my time is spent in traffic, fighting for parking, and hanging out in apartment boxes in large buildings. I think texting is a trap, I hardly do it, and I think if you care to grow someone's feelings for you, you shouldn't answer a voicemail with a text.
