Date single boy from United States. I'm new to the SF area and am very excited to explore the city! I've lived most of my life in New Jersey just outside of NYC and moved to Berkeley from the east coast just over a month ago. I love the SF culture compared to what I'm used to on the east coast. I completed two triathlons last summer, exercising and eating healthy are important to me. Whenever I have a few free hours, I'm on the soccer field or basketball court playing pick-up games. I'd love find find a girl to run 5-10k races with! I rarely watch TV but when I do it's either South Park, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, ESPN, or CNN/MSNBC. I worked in the solar energy industry for almost three years and just finished my MBA. I'm currently interviewing with a number of solar energy companies and am excited to start up again in the real world in the next few weeks. My longterm goal is to own my own renewable energy company. Coming from the NYC area, I have a slight addiction to Starbucks coffee but I'm trying to switch to Peet's Coffee or a more local coffee shop. I'm very into keeping up with current news (politics, world news, business) but am especially interested in following politics. I'm a proud member of the Green Party and have been getting more into activism over the past few years. Traveling is also very important to me, I love visiting new places and learning about its history, culture, and just enjoying a different atmosphere. I've been to most major cities on the east coast from Montreal to Miami, have visited the Virgin Islands a few times, and have been to Israel a few times. My next few trips will definitely include South America, Asia, and Europe. I'm hoping to check out some of the local microbreweries, if you like trying out unique craft beers, we would most likely get along. I'm not sure what type of girl I'm hoping to find on here but most importantly she must at least be friendly and a good person. Being new to the area I am very open to meeting someone simply to have a new friend but would certainly not be against dating if there was good chemistry. My ideal girlfriend will also be my best friend which is another reason why I would not mind meeting someone and starting off as friends.
