Date a man from Ben Lomond, United States. … what a wonderful nursery rhyme.
I like to think I have no enemies or adversaries, truly! I have a subtle sense of humor that often goes unnoticed, even though I tell folks - the safest response to anything I say is simply to laugh. The zodiac signs are interesting to me. Though I doubt I would make important decisions based solely on that sort of information, I think there is something to it. I know many don’t think so, but what I don’t understand is why some people avoid showing their sign. I fit the description of a Capricorn man very well, except I have always been family oriented. Honest, hard working, caring, loyal, inquisitive, healthy and happy are just some words that describe me.
I have learned, at least on this site, “separated” is not a good word to describe oneself. That’s fair, but I feel my status is more like divorced than separated. We had reasons to delay the divorce, but my healing started last summer. Now all the legal stuff has been take care of, and we’re just waiting on the courts. Let’s see, what else … I live in a nice home, which I can maintain and keep clean all on my own. I have done my own laundry ever since my mother taught me, a long ago. I have a stable career with no drama in my life. I have no “needs” at this time, and I certainly have no complaints. There is so much to be grateful for! However it would be nice to find someone special, after all isn’t that why we’re here?
I like to travel some, but it’s not a huge priority. In the last few years I’ve gone to Costa Rica, made it to Venice Italy, plus a couple of trips to Hawaii. I really enjoy being at home, and I am lucky enough to live in a beautiful place. Heck - some people travel great distances to visit Santa Cruz and the Santa Cruz mountains, it’s a wonderful place! I have no issues being by myself; I often enjoy gardening or riding my bicycle alone. The best times for me include family and/or friends (not being alone - hahaha), but I also like to get out. A ski trip at Lake Tahoe, camping in Big Basin, weekend of wine tasting, a day on a secluded beach - all sound like a great time to me! Well, maybe those aren’t good first dates – don’t you think it would be better to start off meeting for a coffee or tea?
