I am an energetic, upbeat woman who is fortunate to have good health, great family, longtime friends, interesting work and reasonable security. My values are Mid-West and humanistic, rather than religious. Divorced long ago with no children, I am interested in almost everything and find that, in compatible company, almost any activity is enjoyable. Some of my favorites are travel, photography, walking/hiking, yoga, sailing, concerts, plays, museums, ethnic restaurants, antique hunting and weekend drives to wherever we end up. I'm planning to have at least one foreign trip per year..... maybe Spain/Portugal, Africa, Switzerland or ????. Cooking and entertaining for friends or with a special man is one of my all time favorite things to do. Another all time favorite is great conversation .... even if I don't agree with the opinions expressed, I enjoy exploring ideas and thoughts about all the issues of our times without feeling I have to convince anyone of anything.If you are the man I'm seeking, you are intense, passionate, confident, and have a real need for good communication. You must be reasonably fit with natural curiosity and a desire to travel and keep learning about other cultures and ways of thought. Integrity and a sense of community are central to your character. You enjoy good food and wine, and can at least tolerate the occasional evening of entertaining at home or at a charity function. You can tell a good story and get a good laugh … maybe blessed with a wee bit of the blarney ... but is rigorously truthful whenever he's not joking around. You've loved very deeply at least once and are ready to experience that close bond again, hopefully for the rest of your life. The real key … the thing we're all looking for is that magical chemistry, so indefinable and yet so compelling. In this crazy, busy, now, now, now, more, more, more world, I’m hoping to find that special connection once more .... for the last time.
