I'm politically a mix of conservative and libertarian and am registered independent believing both major parties are sinking this country but at different rates. I used to feel it best that anyone I was involved with had no living relatives withing 3,000 miles. But my last experience has shown I can survive nearby relatives. Whether they can survive me is another matter. On the man/woman thing in general, I'm strongly advocate equality in opportunity and such, but also believe that, generally, men and women aren't quite the same sort of animal. Only a woman could have the courage to have a baby or get up on a gymnastics hard wooden balance beam. For those two reasons, women have my undying respect. Well, there's a hint of that dark humor, but there is some truth in all humor. Hobbywise I like model railroading and railfanning mostly.
