OK, here are some facts about me: I have a job, a house, a car. I do not have children, a wife, a girlfriend, or even a psycho ex. I shower daily, brush my teeth morning and night and I floss. I love to cook, I clean, I maintain my house and yard. I can drywall, frame, plumb, weld, paint, lay tile, I'll tackle pretty much any project with a little help and encouragement. If you were to ask, I would recommend it. What we do, how we look at life and who we love are the things that matter. Its rather simple, and it should be when you think about it. For father’s day I went to see my dad, he gave me a poem that had the line “come bad times - we give it art and length”. My dad suggested that I was giving a recent disappointment more art and length than it was due.

Who am I? Here are a few of my aspects: I'm an alpha male -- quite confident, clear about life, strong, steady, responsible, hard-worker, honest, etc. A lot of compassionate male strength. And yet, when appropriate, I still have a lot of fun with my inner little boy. I came to Humboldt to build, with my own hands, a cabin in the sacred redwood forest. l'm wildly in love with Humboldt's forests and rocky shores. I've long been an HSU prof in astrophysics. As my left and right brains have become more balanced, I enjoy sharing my more magical life in my Cosmic Visions workshop (google it, if you're curious, but it's just for locals because it takes weeks of attendance). I eat healthily and live purely, without getting into fascism judging others. The number one love in my life is raising my beautiful 7-year old son, who I have half-time.
My strongest trait, besides being the best dad in the world, is my ability to communicate. My left brain is good at presenting clear, reasonable views. But communication goes far beyond that -- my years have brought skill at being able to *really* listen to you. We will disagree on things, but if I choose you as an intimate, you will feel heard and deeply understood, with a partner who is rooting for you. It would be wildly deep fun to for us to help each other evolve to higher levels. After knowing a woman for a week or for years, women *always* confide that knowing me has made their life better. I am a lifetime athlete and have the lean muscled body of a 30 year old. I hang with, and out-perform most in-shape guys in their 20's in weight-lifting, martial arts, forest biking, etc. It would be wondrous if you shared a sense of the power and spiritual energy of having physical vitality, and that you are one with your toned body (think deer, not cow). As for the many women on this site whose interest do not so strongly include a path of physicality -- I respect your chosen life journey, I bet you are wondrous and I'll truly miss enjoying your other energies.
Most likely a woman who shares my sense of physicality is quite a bit younger than I. Such an age gap has a flip side to it -- I have not been wasting my time during these centuries, I have been gaining skill: as a best friend, as a lover who can leave you feeling fulfilled and treasured, and as a man whose psyche can nourish you as a woman -- intertwining our energies to lead to something beyond friendship and passion, into the realm of a true spiritual experience.
