- I'm a marine biologist and I love my job. I go to sea anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks a year (not all at once). Going to sea is the fun part. I also spend a lot of time communicating science to the public.

- I play softball on a coed and women's league.
- I follow my favorite baseball team and love going to any MLB game. I'm originally from New Jersey, so no, my favorite team isn't the Giants, but I promise it's also NOT the Yankees ;)
- I love to cook and share healthy meals with my friends. One of my favorite things to do on a weekend is go to the farmers market, get lots of local fresh veggies and then make something awesome. Add a good bottle of wine to that and we're all set!
- I love to travel, but what sets me apart from other girls is that I pride myself in packing light :) In the last few years, I've had the good fortune to travel to many different places.
