I recently lost my sweet Golden Retriever - very sad about that. I love dogs, and will probably get another one some day.

Meet a soulmate from California, United States. Yeah I know, dating world! But hey, if your weren't lost you'd never be found.
So I'm here to bare my soul, my innermost vulnerable self, my wounded heart...what a bunch of crap, ok I'll stop. I have no issues, vulnerabilities, fears, or worries. I'm actually very happy and healthy and I'm completely comfortable living in my world of denial.
About me? I came from the East coast, been to most states and travelled the world some. I've been in California since '79, landing in Santa Cruz by chance originally and returned recently. I'm also invested in Tahoe and make regular trips there. I love the contrast of ocean and mountains, warm beach to snowy peaks. I still have many destinations and some roads less traveled in mind once I unite with my other half.
Part of my nature has always been to build and create no surprise I found myself in the construction industry in past years. I'm quite enterprising and since have dabbled in real estate, playing Monopoly I suppose (too bad they changed the game). Other current enterprises include web development. Oh but I've always been a writer at heart and someday will have the time and inspiration to put pen to paper. If I seem to write now all a bit too sincere, know that I also intend to also take my stand up comedian act to amateur night someday. You may find my facets fascinating.
I have a wide range of interests and have always seemed to relate to all sorts of people. I Love animals, (dogs in particular) and every child in the world, especially mine of course. Son 36, Daughters 26 and 27. I am both proud and privileged to have devoted an enormous part of my life to them and they have filled my heart and saved my life. They are all grown now and I am available now for a new chapter. I'm loyal, trustworthy, faithful, dependable, and deeply passionate. I need someone to dream with me, and discover our world together. It's OK if you haven't lived a charmed life. Knowledge you learn, wisdom you earn. I'd like a woman who's been around the block, but didn't get lost.
I don't believe these are my "golden years", I haven't even had my "mid-life crisis" yet. So I'd like it if you are young at heart and willing to do some exploring and discovery with me. I'm not looking for someone too much younger than me, people that age seem like kids to me. Its even OK if you're a little older, so long as you don't act it and you worship the temple (that means stay in shape, respect thy self).
