Meet people from United States. I think most people who know me would agree that I'm smart, independent, and dependable, but other than that, it depends upon where I am and who I'm with at the time. In new situations with people I don't know, I'm fairly quiet, but once I'm comfortable, the friendly, playful, even sometimes mischievous side of me comes out. I try to lead a well balanced life ... I enjoy being outdoors; long walks on the beach, hikes in the local mountains when it's not too hot, and puttering in the garden. I'm not really into sports other than white water rafting and snorkeling, which require special conditions to enjoy. I took up ballroom and Latin dancing a few years ago and I've become a bit of a dance class junky, but I still have two left feet when it comes to freestyle dancing. I've been working with a trainer at a gym at least three times a week for close to eight months now and I really do work out, hard ... I'm not there to socialize. The pictures were taken about a year ago so all those rippling muscles I've built with weight training don't show .... just kidding ... I am more muscular now, but no ripples thanks to yoga and dance stretches. I really don't like having my picture taken ... can you tell? ... I'm really not nearly as serious as the pictures may portray.

Traveling around the world for a while with the man of my dreams is something I look forward to.....I will go almost anywhere with the right guy. My commitments are becoming less obtrusive, and this crazy silly thing that I do to humor myself and others called "song and dance" is not exactly crucial to my existence. In the real world, I teach fitness classes to my beloved seniors twice a week, and keep busy with chorus and dance classes, hoping to get into ballroom dance very soon. Meet someone special from United States. I am fairly recently widowed after a happy 35 year marriage. I'm telling you this as background only, because I want anyone who might be interested in becoming my friend - or possibly more - to know that I am looking for someone who is interested in all aspects of life and living it to it's fullest. There are so many delightful things to do and places to go, but most of them are much more fun when done with someone special.
