Date a man from California, United States. I think it should be OK to say good things about myself in a profile. I am a person that you will find interesting, funny, and easy to get along with. I have been to about 60 countries. I teach government, economics, and history at an inner city high school. I am a socially concerned person. I used to be a peace and environmental activist, I don't want to repeat that exactly, but I think we all should be trying to do something. Yes, I was somewhat of a hippie, but stayed light on drugs.
I am in my 60’s but I have no plans for retirement. I not only look 10 years of so younger, I bring high energy to everything I do.
I do some hiking, biking, listening to live music, visit with friends, and other activities. I would like someone to do these things with. I would do a lot more kinds of activities, if I had someone to do them with. But also, I would like to meet someone with whom I would be happy to just do nothing in particular, because just being together is all we really need.
My taste in music is very eclectic. I could easily say my favorite music is whatever I am listening to at the moment. As a hobby, I make up CDs for my friends, and make them a collage of songs I think they will like, but probably have not heard. It can be for music to dance by, beautiful and meaningful, ethnic, old time, blues, reggae, hip hop.
If and when I am in a relationship again; she will never wonder if I really care, she will never wonder if I would rather be with someone else, she will never wonder if I am being totally honest, and she will never wonder whether we will always be one.
