I'm comfortable in tennis shoes, a baseball cap and no make-up, but I also love to dress up in stilettos and flattering dresses or classy casuals. I enjoy hiking, exercising, fishing, tennis, biking, skiing, playing the piano, gardening, and putzing around the house. I attend a Christian contemporary church every week and I know that God has my back and a plan for my life. I can have a touch of sarcasm to my wit, but I consider myself a compassionate and tolerant person. I enjoy having fun and laughing until my face aches - but there is definitely an intentional side to my nature. I'm a realist who is looking for a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and encourages a woman to be herself without playing games or having unrealistic expectations. I can be happy at home, sleeping in, having a cup of coffee, reading the paper, doing yard work, washing the car, or taking off and having a fun filled day going from one place to another. I like to travel and have been fortunate to have traveled fairly extensively. Integrity, honesty and transparency are non-negotiable character traits. Kindness, humor, curiosity and a zest for life is also critical. A love and respect for family and friends is a must. I think a successful person can be described by the caliber of his or her friends that he/she is surrounded by. I also think a lot can be told about a man by the titles of the books he has on the bookshelf. (Please don't be put off by that - I haven't added to my bookcases since I started reading off my Kindle or iPad. Plus, if you're not a reader... it's just because you haven't been turned on to a "can't-put-this-book-down book or author!") I just found out I'm an "ambivert." That was an interesting discovery. I love the beach, mountains, solitude or crowds... I just love life! I enjoy Vegas, Mammoth, Mexico, Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, Colorado, I could go on and on - really just about anywhere. My license plate sums up my life's motto. I am at ease in most social settings, a small outdoors bar-b-q, an intimate dinner for two, at a rip roaring concert, or by myself with a good book. I love to cook and explore new recipes and I play the piano for "therapy." (that plus a glass of good red wine!) What about you?

I love to take a walk at the beach holding hands watching the sunset. The mountains in the morning is a great place to set with that someone special, talking and just enjoying each other.
Camping is another place to like to go. I have a quad i like to ride and at night relaxing around the camp fire. Bowling, dancing, movies anything to spend time wth that special one.
