KIND OF GUY, thank God.I really don't care for superficial, phony or plastic people. Having said that there hasn't been anyone in my life in quite a while. I miss the company of a woman. Going out trying new places or just staying home and relaxing, chit chatting or watching tv or a movie. I'm ok with being alone but it's not how I'd like to live in any sort of a permanent sense.
I tend to be a pretty private person and I like it that way. I tend to open up once I feel comfortable with someone. I'm a very warm hearted person, deeply caring about others and fairly sensitive. I'm also passionate (with the right person) and compassionate as well as very loyal. I'm a one woman kinda guy.
Even though I am by no means a perfect christian, I am a christian. It is a defining characteristic and something I look for in someone. At least someone that I'd marry and yes, I would like to be married someday :-) In all honesty I don't go to church much. I prefer to watch various religious shows on tv, but that might change. I feel I get more out of it that way. So, if you're a "spiritual but not religious" type of person it won't work I don't think. I believe in The ONE true and Living God!
I was born and raised in Chicago and I'm still something of a midwestern boy even though I've been here in SoCal all of my adult life, except for a few years in Miami. My dad's parents were Sicilian and my mom is from Cuba. I speak Spanish and Portuguese, as well as a little of many other languages. I love languages and they come easily to me, but I think the mold I come from can be best described as that of the writer type. I really like the world of ideas. I was once told the inner world of ideas is my realm and that is me. Or at least a huge part of me. I work in both the fields of education as a substitute teacher currently and acting, mostly as background or an extra. I really like it even though it doesn't pay much.
I lean toward the right in my values and in my politics so if you voted for Obama it probably wouldn't work out. I'm not really a liberal even though I sometimes hear things I agree with. I'm just me. I hate labels especially when they are applied to me.
Tattoos and piercings are a major turn off for me. Just thought I'd be upfront and honest. Thanks for reading :-)

Chen Chi-hsiang (???), who allegedly bribed Lin, came out and spoke to NEXT Magazine, exposing a devastating graft scandal that shook the Ma administration last week. Lin resigned from his post but claimed that he was innocent in two press conferences held immediately after NEXT published its reports. The bribery allegations revolved around negotiation deals with China Steel Co. (CSC).
Lin is being held incommunicado following his partial confession of accepting NT$63 million from Chen on Monday after a 12-hour interrogation session, according to prosecutors from the Special Investigation Division (SID) under the Supreme Prosecutors Office. As of now, Lin is prohibited from communication, including telecommunications, except with his assigned attorney, prosecutors said.
Local media published transcripts of the recording yesterday. During the 66-minute conversation, Lin and Chen apparently discussed the amount of the bribe, related companies and a potential involvement of other officials, said local reports. According to the transcript provided by the media, Lin said, “I need to deal with a lot more lawmakers this time.” Lin had allegedly requested another NT$83 million after Chen had paid the initial amount.
