Having "Date Nights" each week is something we should look forward to. Family life is what I am now missing and desire. I had to leave my dog "Auggie" in Hawaii due to her health. She is a Chihuahua/Fox Terrier, she came from the animal shelter and we had been companions for 11 years and I feel that I will probably always have some sort of pet around. Want to develop closer ties with Children and Grand-children as well as my future wife's extended family. I miss family gatherings.

When not eating, sleeping, reading or working (part-time); I'm camping, biking, hiking or snowshoeing. I feel a sense of "awe" when viewing or witnessing natural beauty and phenomena. I’ll take a walk, bike, hike or road trip anywhere fun, semi-interesting or enriching; old gold mines, ghost towns, hardware stores, outdoor concerts, parks, museums, monuments (it's amazing what you learn at a Visitor Center), car and craft shows, farmer and flea markets. I'm naturally inquisitive; always turning over rocks, looking under leaves. Enjoy beach combing, tide pooling, watching the "dawn patrol" (flight of Pelicans, wingtip to wingtip, wind surfing above the waves). I like to be aware of my surroundings; examining, observing, studying and checking things out. I'm easily entertained!

As an active high energy, interesting person, I do think that our history is relevant, I have been a teacher, counselor, school administrator, building contractor,(two trades) and I have helped raise five children. My father is 94 and still gardens and runs 3 businesses. My mom died last year and was tap dancing six months before her departure.
