I'm passionate about my children, connecting with people, playing music, keeping fit and trying to do good in the world. I am very lucky to love my work - I mix craft brewing with farm to table food. I need challenges and am constantly learning. I am most at peace when I'm in out in the woods, back packing appreciating natural beauty. I appreciate the ancient, the wise and how little we truly know. I must travel. I swim, bike and run every week. Physical activity grounds me. I'm always reading a book, and if I could magically be anything, it'd be a great writer.
I work hard, play hard and am engaged in life. As an immigration attorney, I won a couple precedent setting cases. I liked helping people. But I left that to open what has become a successful organic brewery-restaurant. I very much believe in sustainable living and bring that to my business. I lived in Madrid for a couple of years after college - learned more about history, culture, how others see the States and best of all fluent Spanish - the richest experience of my life (aside from having kids!). Some people think that with my "success" and confidence that I'm all strength, but I am very sensitive - maybe a bit too much. At the end of the day, I need as much love as I give.

I grew up in middle America, joined the military to defend the same and to see the world - Navy, and did just that. Meet a soulmate from United States. I'm from a small suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota: I moved out here in 1985, moved to south Florida in '94, back to San Diego in '95. I couldn't find work so I moved to south Arizona a few months later; a job awaited me via my brother-in-law in the small mining town of Globe. I did that for about one year, moved to Tucson in '96 working at a warehouse job for a Caterpillar dealer. I missed San Diego so much, in spite of the high cost of living, so I moved back here again in September of '98, the year the Padre's went to the World Series and got swept by the Yankees. I don't think I'll ever leave here again.
My friends seem to have a difficult time in understanding me and I must be honest, I'm complicated. If we should get involved as friends, not so bad; small, silly prices for good times beyond the little annoyances of my quirky, harmless idiosyncrasies. Just kidding! I will always tell you how I feel and what I think, I'm an open book. A relationship must be based on honesty and trust, I wouldn't have it any other way.
My strongest passion is writing. I enjoy writing poetry, articles, short stories, screenplays, novels, and have published a Non- Fiction book (Philosophy/Metaphysics); "Profound Simple, the Nature and Meaning of Reality and Human Existence." I'm working on a second book, which is much better since my writing ability has improved. This book has a good variety of comedy and wisdom. I call it "Braingasms, a Collection of Poems, Articles, Short Stories, Whatever..."Warning, it has been determined by the state of consciousness that reading this book can cause you to think uncontrollably." I love to watch movies, mostly dramas, action, sci-fi, some romance and comedy: I like all genres. I don't like politics but follow it, I don't like Obama, I'm a republican.
