Well...When I think of myself the first thing that comes into my mind is "Perfect"...then I wake up and realize the alarm's been going off for 25 minutes and I'm late for work. So, I get into the shower and look around for a razor so I can shave and I see that I forgot to buy any. I want to use the the old one I used last time, but I know if I do I'll probobly cut myself to ribbons, but I need to shave, so I use it anyway, and I cut myself to ribbons. I get out of the shower and put those little pieces of toilet paper all over my face to stop the bleeding and I start to get dressed (remember: if it smells clean it is clean). After getting dressed I go to my car and start driving to work and realize I forgot to feed the cat so I go back home and feed the cat and I get back in my car and drive to work. When I get there I find my boss and explain to him why I'm late, but he's not listening to me cause he's laughing his butt off because I forgot to take all those little pieces of toilet paper off my face. So I go to the bathroom and take them off, and I reflect to myself, "Boy I'm pretty lucky I don't operate any heavy machinery." Well that's about the gist of it! If that doesn't scare you off maybe we can get to know each other...:)

Date someone special from United States. Yesterday I was riding along the San Diego River looking out to the mouth of the estuary as it opens into the Pacific Ocean and all I could think is that I -- better said, we -- are among the luckiest folks on earth to live here in Southern California.

I am blessed with two wonderful children: Oliver (18) a top-notch swimmer just accepted to the University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign for electrical engineering / computer science, and Isabel (15) a model in the making with legs for days and a smile to match who loves to swing a stick in field hockey when she isn't the social butterfly of LJHS.
As for me, I am a successful entrepreneur with a passion for all things electric - that is, hydroelectric, solar, and waste-to-energy. God and clients have been good to me so I am often able to do business in the Latin America, Europe and Asia. For most of the last two years, however, I have been lucky enough to work closer to home here in the Western USA.
When I am grounded here in San Diego, I can be found riding my trusty Pinarello in East / North County. I also confess to riding from LJ to Point Loma, then to Balboa Park, and back up to LJ through the Presidio and beaches. Smallest big city around is San Diego.
Cycling requires lots of food, so while I am not Bobby Flay, I can turn a whisk and certainly flip a steak! And that makes me appreciate the waited table all the more. My favorite food haunts include Station Sushi (Bird Rock), Mille Fleur, The Fishery (PB), and the Whaling Bar (La V). Out of town, there is no better than the Post House in mid-town Manhattan. The waiters are so nice there they even let me fall asleep at dinner once after jet lag from Madrid got the better of me. Still had to pay the bill, though.

Me; I'm simple, humble, funny, career driven, successful, I keep fit and watch what I eat but love food, cooking and eating out. I'm a pretty mellow person, I love to people watch, do fun things but not into extreme activities...although I used to ride and race mountain bikes. My dream right now is to stop working in 3-5 years (I guess that's called "retire") and maybe go live on the beach in costa rica, so if you speak Spanish that would be a bonus. What I like is; Jeff Buckley (amazing), Ben Harper, Eagles, Willie Nelson, I even like some 50 cent, Adele...a diverse variety if you will... If a song is good I like it. When I was a young kid, I was very cute (what happened), I wanted to play the guitar so my parents bought me a guitar and put me in lessons. All I wanted to do is play Eagles songs but the instructor said that is many years away, their songs are very difficult and he made me play things like Michael rowed his boat ashore (or is it rode, not sure if mike was a passenger in the boat or the skipper) (booooring) so I gave up the guitar, therefore, now I'm not cool and not on the road touring with my band sleeping with tons of hot groupies; so you won't have to worry about that with me, I won't be on the road sleeping with groupies.
