Date men and women from California, United States. My primary focus in life right now is being mom to my boys (9 and 6 years old). When I'm with the boys, we are usually on the go. We go to parks, Legoland, museums, the beach, soccer, baseball, scouts, etc. Without the kids, I like to go to movies, work on the house, eat out, run, hike with the dog, or just be.
I am independent. I take nothing too seriously and laugh often; I have to for my sanity. I have an ironic sense of humor and like to joke with my kids (which has come back to bite me), and I'm loyal and loving. I have faults too, I steal my kids' Halloween candy when they sleep (shhh!) and freak out if they track in dirt after I've swept. But other than that, I'm pretty normal.
I'm hoping to find someone who is comfortable, happy, and secure. Someone who enjoys life and doesn't sweat the small stuff. On the other hand, I'm driven and focused and would like to see those qualities in the guy I date.
I love to travel and look forward to getting back to it someday. I've enjoyed Europe, Central and South America, Australia, etc. With kids, the travel has become a little more local- back east, San Francisco, camping, and local outings.

On a side note, I'm noticing that a lot of men are lying about their ages! My take on that is- if you're lying about your age, what else are you lying about?? I would never continue to date a man that was lying in the first place.
Another side note... I'm laughing at profiles on match; guys that are mid-40's but are looking for women from 25-30. Really? Or, just read a profile where a guy has kids but wants to be with a woman who doesn't. ? Oh, and my favorite is someone in their mid 40's who wants kids "someday". WTF. Someday has come and gone!!

Things that I LOVE:
