Meet someone special from California, United States. As a 1st generation American (parents born in Europe), I always did feel a bit different growing up. At school, Instead of Peanut Butter and Jelly in my lunch box, I had German sausage and Polish Pierogi. Being a "hybrid", I Like to think of myself as having old-world charm and manners blended with American optimism and practicality.
Most of my adult life has been spent abroad living in Europe and Asia. I'm in charge of setting up our company's international locations so I've had a great time living in London, Warsaw, Shanghai and a few others. It's a great life but eventually you crave the simpler things (like a home-cooked meal vs a fancy restaurant dinner). Plus, women value stability and security (I think) instead of packing up and trying out a new city every few years. I'm now back full circle in Los Angeles trying to see how things go here. My family is in LA and we are quite close. Plus I'm hoping I can "show the ropes" to my little niece and nephew.

I'm sure looks are important to most people, but I also value the more cerebral qualities of a woman. Of course there must be some passion and romance in the relationship as we are all human after all :-) Integrity and honesty are also key elements to any relationship. I've grown up with strong women (mom and sister are very hard-headed) but I've gotten used to it by now. (My mom is 5'0 tall and still can strike fear into the hearts of men twice her size, including my father and me)
Although rarely mentioned, I think good hygiene is an important. I do my best to keep myself clean, fresh, well-groomed,etc, and I would hope my partner would also take good care of herself as well.

What else...oh, I'm a work-a-holic and that takes up a lot of time dieing certain parts of the year or a unexpected deadline comes up and I'm at the office for a long stretch of time. I have been in (2) car accidents so my back and neck are a mess and in the works to take care of that issue. This being said, I don't hike, rollerblade, ski/snowboard or go on long walks. I do go to the gym but my exercise is limited to the gym within reason. So, that is me as much as I can present to you at this time.
The woman that I like to hang out with is someone that is confident in herself on all levels. She doesn’t need my attention 24/7. Don't get me wrong, you'll always have my attention, but doesn’t need me there at her side all the time. what's the point of writing to fulfill a checklist? Men and Women both have checklists and I find those checklist to be useless. Think about it...One can say...Hey I have a job then next year they can be laid off. One can say "Hey Like this blah blah" and later change their interest the following year.
When I reflect my progression from the 20's and 30's, I see a shift in my life where my values are different. Life becomes more important as a I get older.
